Whats Piggy/backing off CELL C 's network got to do with having the phone.The only reason Virgin is piggy/backing of Cell c is because why must you reinvent the wheel if it already is there.But if you are content with being ripped off by MTN then go ahead. By the way Virgin will have HSDPA soon.

dude, so 1 yr 5% isnt enuff? wad bout SE? i think they arent doing gd.. still 6% and nokia still maintains.. If motorola is improving and nokia isnt, that means that nokia is declining. MOTO will be number1 , one day.. All moto fans unite and celebrate that day.

Correction!!

Its 17.5% to 21.8% (NOT 23%,dont go so hyper! calm donw)
LG is at 6.4%(NOT a mare 3% as you mentioned)...and that's just 0.2% below SE.

Samsung 10mpx is out of question..that's only for Koeran market.Peace.

ALL moto fans, dont listen to these so called " moto killers".. We can juz sit down and see the improvement of motorola. from 17% to 23% now, and NOKIA is still at 33%, while the pathetic SE is still below 8% whereas the copycats SAMESONG AND LG are at 12% and, uhm.. 3%? respectively.

MOTOROLA are improVing! without a dam 3mpx camera, whereas the 10 mpx samesong(samsung) and the 3.2 mpx k800i? can do nothing to help their manufacturers

Gangsta moto, u rock man! true moto fans, many of them are juz saying that OH WE SE hav 3.2 Mpx or waDEVA.. but their phones arent selling gd as our razrs. They said they are tired of razr designs, but u kno wad?
who cares bout what they think.. There are 50 millions of pple thinking that razr design is so kewl.. Go gangsta moto!!

by the way, i dont like korean brands, always sick of their copycats. YEa, i saw that LGphone that looked identical to the A780, i bet theres gonna be a phone looking as same as the A1200, lol. Well , GO KRZR and RIZR, they will sell well..

MTN Does HAve HSDPA Yes But Y Do U Wanna Get It On MTN, Their UMTS Coverage Is Poor, Im On Vodacom And Its Fine, Virgin Is Cheap Yet Ineffective [50c Per Meg]

Motorola RAZR maxx is simply great. Only one problem I faced is when I close the folder then audio song becomes off. How can I enjoy song closing the folder.
Please help.

Dont we have enouf of MOTOROLA RAZR versions till now..................MOTOROLA Shud make no further UPgrades of their RAZR ............I'd rather request them to concentrate on some innovative products other than their RAZR stuffs........i think we've had enough already

WOW... there are moto fans in this forum...

actually, i WAS one.... at the time everybody said moto is history... when the v3 was still new and expensive... when moto had no marketing strategy, no adv on the tv.... when everybody thought moto was dead...

I had an e398, cheap but great phone.... The 3D sound(through the loudpeaker) is still the best i've ever heard on a hp.... i really liked this phone... maybe i still... Now i'm using a W800, bought if for its "earplugs"...



But we must admit, motorola did great with the v3... the design was great and will always be... even if the phone did freeze a lot, it was a great device...

its a shame that other phomemakers copied the v3 design... to immitate a nice design is good, that's how we obtain better phones but its not the same for the V3 style... i think the competitors exagerated in this case... when the design was still new, they didn't copy it... which means they didm't trust in it... it was only after the V3craze that they started to consider it.... i will NEVER buy a non-moto slim phone coz of this...

Imagine: it's as if sony starts using the clikwheel, after so many years trying to find a better solution than apple's... you can't start a "fight" and then make as if you didn't when you realise you will loose...

But i also think moto should propose phones... all they are doing since the V3 success, are V3 sons and daughters... They don't have phones dedicated to compete with nokia N-series or SE's W-series...
why was the e1120 cancled????

Well I have a V3x and i love it. But when this phone is released in S. Africa i will be first in line for an upgrade? I'm currently on Vodacom with HSDPA, and am wondering if Virgin Mobile will have this phone ? also does anyone know if Virgin has a HSDPA Network, or even MTN? Guys dont get this phone... I Wanna Be The Only One... its awesome!!

My bad... meant to say A732 was a slider phone released by Motorola last year summer...with touch sensitive screen... so please accept my correction Kal.

I hear what you say but the fact is Motorola phones aint bad at all... layout maybe be harder than the rest but the fact is like with anything else... once u understand it..it then becomes easy.

Or am i wrong?... dont think so.

Oh I forgot to add...

we all know that Nokia/Motoroall are like king in communication device..they know the tech..but they had their best time in "monochrome age". its time for colors and multimedia features..and that's where they are trying to "catch up". Neither Nokia nor Moto has the "in-house" knwoledge in Mp3 player/Display tech/Camera/camcorder...they simply hired some people with knowhow...thats where Sony(along with erricson) and Samsung come. Today Samsung/SE are biting motos a$$ and sooner or later they are going to go up just because of that fact.

I agree with you, camera quality and resolution is a useless topic to talk about. Till today and even in near future cell phones will never replace a digital camera/camcorder or ipod. Sony is not that dumb that they will release a cell phone with that great quality camera or camcorder and loose their market share in digicam market. Much hyped N93 cant replace a camcorder. 10mp samsung cant replace a regular digital camera.

Bottom line is, a the best cell phone is a device that is nice 'n sleek looking "mobile" device that you can carry in your "pocket", which has most of the features. Peace.

Its amazing to see how much time and effort you have put together to show that how much you believe in Moto and you think positive about them...alaways, always. Im not aginst any brand. Im not a nokia/SE fan..I like nicely designed phones with good features...dont wanna compromise on the design to have best thing. Samsung suits me well that way. I liked V3X design..these news ones looks cool too.

You kept saying that everything is all same just that its being layed out differently, I assume you are a knowledgable person, you must be well aware of that fact that, in motorolla its not being layed out properly compared to the user friendlyness of other brands. Unless you have used other phones you might not know of course.

and wait,... did you just mentioned A780 as slider with touch sensitive buttons?? That was not expected from you Gansta..from when it became a slider..its a flip phone with regular buttons outside. I wont say moto copying the touch sensative thingy....Im not among those who would starts screaming like some moto fans did when they saw D810 (a900 for USA) without knowing that razr and d810 had been released about same time in korea......I believe form factor/tech, anyone can use it. But as all moto supporters always always keep reminding us (that's including you), about who first started cell phone..who 1st had calmshell....in the same spirit you should acknowledge that its Samsung/LG who started the touch sensitive buttons...infact its samsung who came out wiht it 1st and LG made it famous with their "chololate" brand....moto/benQ-siemens are just following the trend.


And please please, when you make a reference with cars, please dont refer moto as Mercedes and BMW. that would be a shame for Mercedes and BMW. Moto is FORD/GM (the most recalled car in the world, but well every american own one or two, and the same goes for Moto). Ofcourse feel happy that RAZR to me is like Ford Mustang. No offence but I was just thinking that you have to be american to have so much faith on Moto. You gotta be.
