I like the size and screen. The phone letters are hard to see on the buttons.
I am coming from a Pocket PC, Sieman SR56.
With pricing droped below $200, its a good value.
hy i am from Romania. I have this phone for over 5 months now and last week i gone to a friend who repaires phones and he managed to stick inside a 256mb card. Now although i lost my guaranty i can say that i am very pleased of the v3, but the speed of it"s menu is quite slow but now i can put on it allmost 50 mp3"s. Just go to a good specialist and do like me.
the mp3 ring tone is useless since the internal memory is so small.
This phone has a serious problem staying charged. I have tried two phones. Don't leave home without a backup phone.
i love this fone 2 bits. i had one 4 six months but as it has no video i changed it. i love the size of it and the sound and picture quality r excellent. the speaker is great 4 wen ur driving 2.
im selling mine now - in england - as i got the samsung e720. my new fone is gr8 but i still miss my v3. all of my mates got one after me and love theirs 2. they r not fussed 4 video like me.
if u want all ur mates 2 admire u get this fone - it also fits nicely in ur work top pocket.....so managers r none the wiser if ur not meant to have ur fone at work!!!
I don't understand it only has a VGA camera and no memory card...
So little feature and so expensive, it doesn't make any sense to me... It's not worth the price anyway. You're right looks like a hair clipping razor to me!
Joe Jackson this phone is massive, so its quite flat but when you open it up its just as big as a 3g phone its really big when you flip it open and its wide. The style its not stylish it looks to toyish it looks like a hair razor clipper. Bottom line the phone does not work or do the job like its intended.
Your comments are not constructive whatsoever. I know many people who have a Motorola V3 and it is certainly anything but big and bulky - it's a very stylish handset.
It's very very very slimline - in fact one of the slimmest handsets on the market. It's not got great features but this is because of the style.
I jsut bought this hunk a junk. Its so big and bulky and its like carrying a brick. With such a big phone you would it had a decent screen but its tiny. Blue tooth sucks and this phone does too.
I have just got the V3. I could send text messages but now I am unable to! I have an icon on the screen that says GPRS, is this normal? If not how do I get rid of it? Just wonerdered if anyone could help.
can the v3 be used jus for calling ur freinds and text messaging them and takin some pictures...would that be to hard for this phone...
I dont do Motorola's and if you guys know whats good for you i suggest you follow in my foot steps. My experience with motorola phones have all been bad every motorola i've had has had charging problems right from the v66 to the last one i had a e365. They always have battery based issues whether its faulty charging or below average battery life. This one is no exception it to has poor battery life always crashes and most of all.. wait for it... "it wont charge properly" said my mate, big suprise!
Motorola's also have slow menu's and are prone to crashing and reseting this is why i'd never touch a Motorola phone. This one is just a heap of junk and has no features with poor 5MB memory my friend had it he got so fed up with it after the first 2 days of owning it that he sent it right back.
My friend bought a unlocked V3, which I told him to stay away from any Motorola. While charging one night he left it on top of a plastic case (battery side down). In the morning the plastic was melted and looked like it almost started a fire. The key pads are fried to crisp, and nothing works. My friend regrets buying the V3 and send it for repair/exchange, but the store in Hong Kong will not honor the warranty since it's out of their country! My poor friend spent all his money on the V3, I loaned him my Nokia 3390 so he has a phone.
Be careful where you place the V3 when you charge, just in case.
Hi Paige, Which network have you ordered your contract with? Because most service providers allow you return and exchange within 14 days.
i thought the phone had vidieo.do anyone have any use for that function because it seems useless to me the phone dose look nice and it takes photos ok but..... it need more to it for what it cost
Hi guys i'm expecting the black model of this phone within the next few days. I've just logged on to have a quick look and i'm gutted as it seems the phone might not be what i expected, also i've just learned it isn't compatable with video messaging.
Someone i know ordered the phone for me on my behalf (without asking which phone i'd like which has kinda anoyed me,) and now i'm just worried because it's on contract and i'm commited to it for 6 months.
Is it really that bad?
elow pls answer me but to answer me just post ur opinion
(1)do u like motorola?
(2)why do u like/dislike motorola?
