In the US, the carriers force you into a data plan therefore you will pay for the data regardless if you use the network or not. For example, if you want the iphone in the US, it is required to pay for the unlimited data plan $20 per month. The iphone is not even 3G so you don't get anything for your money. I guess it makes sense to have wifi in other parts of the world where you actually save money by using it.

It has no radio! We have not find a complete phone still now. 1 has wi-fi but no 3g or no wlan. Or 1 has no better camera or symbian. What's going on???

Yeah but sometimes its easier just connecting to the WLAN. Less money spent right? I mean we're not all rich?

everyone slates motorola, all i can say i have had many phones of all makes and moto's have a lot less software issues unlike some of the more popular phones.
this one looks better than the z8 and i really do want that one. now i am spoilt for choice.

Amit - take a look at their ROKR series (except for ROKR Z6 - which I personally think that this should belong to the RIZR series) and SLVR L9. they have FM radio function.

the specs are good, but isn't it to thick? damn moto, you used to be expert in the slimness phone. now you are folowing nokia, producing bulky phone...yeah, maybe performance and design still cannot working together. we must sacrifice one of them...
