How do I boost the volume of my Z3. Volume is on max but it is still too low.
I just buy this cool stylish sliding phone :
Pros : - smooth sliding
- love the rubber feel casing
- the speaker quite high
- support 2G memory so can use as
flash drive. no need tumbdrive.
- love the sound of the musics
- very usefull flash lite when needed
- can charge using PC tru mini USB
- easy to use
Cons : - the keypad too deep and small.im hv
- some of the features are hard to
find. must dig deep.
- bluetooth conection not so perform.
I am not happy with this phone at all.
It is extremely slow, even slower with instant messengers. The phone freezes nearly everytime i get a phone call and only wakes up when they put the phone down, then my phone says "1 missed call".
The volume is very low. Not even the charger works properly. I put the phone on charge and it makes a funny sound.
When i connect the phone to the computer on memory card mode, it restarts itself the whole time.
I am never buying a motorola again!
Stephen, try downloading motosounds and some gaintables to incresae the volume from http://www.e398mod.com. it's free to download.
Love the phone but I have a problem - Cannot hear the ringer. Volume is turned all the way up. Cannot hear MP3 on card or the built in ringtones. If I make an outgoing call or receive a call the earpiece works 100%. It just doesnt make a sound.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hello. I have bought the phone, its a good phone but in the inbox the name of the sender does not appear, only the phone number appears there. I have downloaded and installed the sofware update but nothing has changed. Does anybody know how to change this??
I've had this phone for a few months now working under T-Mobile.
The reception and call quality are below average, one of the worst I've ever had.
However, for a 'fashion' phone, its very durable. I've dropped it a few times and it still works perfect, aside form a few scratches from said drops. No freezes yet!
The camera works really well, and has amazing quality for 2MP.
The sound quality is also great for music, through the speakers at least, and by cell phone standards. But the organization system is terrible, for all files, including music.
To answer some questions..
-Yes, you can use Mp3's as ringtones.
-The battery life is okay, for this type of phone.
-No, the buttons don't 'peel out,' get dust in them, nor does the slider become loose in anyway. I don't use a case and it's in almost the same condition as when I purchased it.
-No, it doesnt accept standard headphone jacks, you can buy an adapter for about $5.
-No, the phone does not appear to support animated wallpapers.
-The phone does not come with the necessary drivers to transfer files from your computer. You can download them for free at the motorola site.
-This phone does not come with a radio included. Perhaps additional accessaries are needed, don't quote me.

Yes, you can use mp3 as ringtone and yes, you CAN listen to music while you play games, but you can't play 2 javas at the same time.
by the way, I bought my the Z3 in April, and I'm quite happy with him....
