Actually a little disappointed with Z8, keypad buttons should have been raised slightly rather than small ridges inbetween, navigation not what it used to be, not as user freindly as previous models, computer software far too complicated and also not user freindly, not impressed with the camera
very nice. im looking forward to seeing this in action. motorolla really have really have stepped it up a notch over the last couple of years. good style. im liking the design of motorolas lately. some intersting things happening. now its out of moto and lg to keep the great designs coming. i dig this model. very nice indeed.
does anyone know how much this phone sell in singapore?
to those who like this phone just buy it and don't hear a lot of craps at here.sometimes hear too much wont do u any good.
to me i m just concern the price not the functions.
this phone is the coolest model ever that moto produce.
keep it on moto!!
come on nokia are far better than motorola motorola cant even realease a better camera yet still with the basic 2 and 3.2 mp when they realase a nice 5mp camera with high memory capacity than motorola can compete with the top brands style looks alright cant complain about that
Ok I got excited about this phone back in september when it was released, even went as far to pay 700 for it. It's super nice looking but again, yes texting is difficult especially with the 1 2 and 3 buttons so close to the bottom of the slide, your nails catch the slide. Also you are unable to technically exit a program, they all run in the background cause major ram depletion and often crashes and restarts. Mp3 ringtones... not loud at all even on max volume on my hip case I couldnt hear it in a low noise atmosphere. The battery would also conk out early for some reason... probably the open programs in the background, but even off a start and idle the battery doesnt last longer than 24 hours and would be at full then down to red blinking in a mere hour.
I speak of experience with this phone, it looks super nice I like moto but don't get this one... just pass.
this is one of the best fone in my life i ever have .....all the other comments r only a fake from nokia
Ok, the phone's software sucked, but this isn't the last of the RIZR's. There's the upgraded Z10 phone with 3.2 mp camera with flash and on-the-go video editing features. It uses UIQ 3.2 like the ones in SE.
this phone is the least user friendly phone i have ever used. its thick stupid if u ask me, like talking to a brick wall. horrible, i'm a phone freak but this takes complicated to a whole new dumb level. I swear u will be disapointed with this crappy, finicky annoying beyond belief phone. STAY AWAY! U HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
Any phone, whether a measly V3 to a sophisticated N95, is susceptible to errors due to:
1. Location of manufacture - better know where your phone came from. If it's straight out of the original manufacturer, it's good. If not, be prepared for some glitches.
2. Production Mishaps - your phone may suffer from software problems like this Z8 where the other guy has none. If you ain't lucky to get a good quality phone, you're in for some complaints.
3. The user, you - so what if you have access to a high tech phone when you can't even take care of it properly? You will surely be angry with your phone's problems without thinking about your abuses to it.
Of course, Nokia fared way better because it has more experience with Symbian...Moto's still dumb with it. Bear with it for some time.
Did Nokia actually did a great job the first time it used Symbian?
@ The person defending Moto
Look even if this is their first Symbian phone this should have made them test the phone extensively!!! When you are bringing out new phone with a new OS you should make sure the debut device is near perfect, remember 1st impression is lasting one, so please quit da excuses.
