I got this phone when it first came out a few years ago, and i adored it.
After having it for a few months, it started doing the freezing thing that everyone else is talking about. I'd try to type something whether it was in a text or in a contact, and it would freeze up. I always blamed it on the fact that i had a bit of a temper, and had a nasty habit of throwing/dropping the phone.
Luckily, I had insurance, so I got a new one. That one did just fine for over a year, i believe. The only reason I got a new phone was because I sort of shattered the screen on my rokr. (Long story.)
Anyway, I literally cried when I couldn't use my rokr e1 anymore. That's how attached I was to that phone.
I'd give it a 9.8/10.
TO HELP PREVENT FREEZING:
I'd say just take care of it. Don't slam it or throw it.
Also, be weary of what songs you put on it. I'd stay away from putting song from limewire on your phone. If a file from limewire contains some sort of virus, it can get to your phone. Hence, the freezing.
For those whose phones are freezing up now, i'd say try taking the songs off your phone and see what that does. It may or may not help.

i love my moto phone, but right now i hear my contacts but they dont hear me,can someone tell me whats wrong.i had my phone on top a pc since then this been happening.

why no symbiand? e1 rokr can be mod (see moto mod) and if u bored with the original OS u can flash it! with other flash and your phone beter than before? can symbiand do that?i dont think so

this fone was so cool when i 1st got it and i loved the fact that u culd have itunes on it way b4 iphone or anything u could ponly store 50 songs at a time but wich was a bit lame but is wuld flash different colours when it rung super awesome

my phone freezes too.. as soon as i write a few letters in a text it freezes and i cant do nething with it but shut it off and try all over agian.. why is this??

I have had 2 phones like that and both of mine had problems with it. My las tone froze and I had to buy a new phone. They are great except that they randomly white out on you.
