I loved this phone when i had it! It served me a year and a half and i only flashed it once. Good sound quality speakers but camera was a bit rubbish lol

Andrew, it's likely u may have to change the strip or flash your phone if the bootloader appears.

Andrew to flash your phone, u must have flash&backup or rsdlite program, google it. It's a program for motorola phones. As for trini people. I'm a trini as well, likely u weren't using the correct software version.

this phone worked real good for the first 4 months that i owned it. After that this phone was the worst. Everything gives trouble in this phone the video quality sucks and it freezes as well. I flashed this phone like 3 times and still no luck. generally this phone is the worst motorola ever made.

The buttons on the rokr just stopped working.The red button(end)was the only one that worked but now thats stopped.Im thinking maybe water got into it but I've left it to dry out for a few hours and still nothing.Can someone help me?

Christie, unfortunately your phone may require flashing, meaning u will have to change the software on your phone. All the best.

bek, if it prompt accept when your about to download, press it, it will download the ringtone, once completed, it will then prompt u to store(save). Enjoy.

I use to love this phone but recently I've been having problems with it.
Often times when I answer an incoming call the screen freezes and afer and 30 seconds it shuts off. To get it working again I have to remove the battery and replace it.
Also, I can't even hold many songs in it anymore. I use to hold 100, but now it says the memory is full. I have no songs on my phone, but in iTunes it says I used 376 mbs. I can't figure out why. I've deleted everything on my phone besides my contacts and text messages but still no luck.
It's frustrating. I don't know if I like Motorola anymore! :(

Hi Bek! I have this phone for almost two years now...So i think i know pretty much about this. Anyways, about your question how come whenever you try to download a ringtone, it doesn't ask where to save, that means the downloading didn't push through.ROKR E1, does not support WAV. MP3,yes. You wouldn't notice the error at first because you would see the progress (% completed) on your screen. But the real test whether it's successful or not is if you hear the tone after downloading. After which, you now have the option where to save. Hope this helps

I need someone's help....Whenever I download ringtones, the phone never ask me if I want to store (save) it to my phone therefore I never get my ringtone. How can I fix this? ANY SUGGESTIONS?! Thanks

i work at a store that used to sell the phone. so i 'broke into' the display model demo and took the 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor which it had and now use normal headphones which sound waaay better. although i cant use it as a handsfree anymore. lol
btw
i also 'broke into' a creative zen demo box and took some awesome headphones. lol
hurrah for taking advantage of the situation!
note
not liking how it wont register music files from a memory card as a ringtone.
but
its still awesome.

JOEHAN, have u tried installing your itunes software disc on your pc? if not, installing it will allow your computer to recognize the itunes application on your phone. Any problems? Holla.
