Yes,I'd prefer SD card to transflash for this. i believe many others would like the SD card on this fone also, because 1stly it is less expensive(i believe a 512 Transflash is more expensive than a 1GB SD card).2ndly the largest size it have now is 2GB.(tflash largest is 1GB)3rdly if your pc has a SD slot u dont even need a memory card reader to transfer your music files. for tflash u'd need to fit it into the SD adaptor 1st to do this. so its one step less. also currently i dont think the phones that use tflash hav hotswappable functions

Why do we need the micro SD for the E2? If size of the phone itself not so small. So the manufacture itself have no choice by building the external memory with mini or micro SD instead of full size SD. I have an E1000 with 512 T-flash just upgrade from 256, I still prefer to have 2gb like (more music + video.) I wish Moto should made the E1000 (larger in dimensions than E2) like E2 with normal SD. I know it is possible by looking at E1000 size & it would be best if they have hotswap one. Hopefully E2 have one like the E680(i). Sometimes all manufacture try to look good by introducing the latest smallest accessories, but they forgot the gadget they created its not proportional with the accessories. Even more important to find one, my 512 micro SD could be found after I travel across the globe. At last..., still not 2gigs!! I rest my case.

I believe the idea of E2 is really fantastic for the replacement of E680i/E680 and the flop ROCKR E1. Who need the iTunes anyway, the rest of the world just need an MP3 player. Which is much easier (I could say the easiest way) to work as long as you have a memory card reader to transfer all the song to the flash card from your PC. Unless you have the original iPod you dont need iTunes! Trust me it just make it difficult to transfer your music (I owned an iPod)! As for using SD card up to 2gb its not going backward instead its a welcome option as we could coveniently find a 2gb normal size SD card, with a price a little more than 512 T-flash card (This is the largest micro SD size available in the market so far). So Motorola I believe already thought throughly before releasing the E2 more user friendly and economic. Not considering the unlimited size per song for the E2 compare to the E1! That is why I called Moto Fantastic for reinventing the multimedia phone. The only drawback for me is the megapixel camera, I prefer to keep the old VGA camera. Only for Moto, the ol' VGA camera are better than megapixel one, this is from my experience. BTW, I owned Moto E1000, MPX 220 & 200, V3, E770(Vodaphone, the latest I bought),E680, CDMA V868 and several other brands (not to be discuss on this issue. Anyway, I'm looking forward to buy V3i (I dislike the iTunes but I will try to by pass and save all songs to the audio file cause I really like the look of the phone and with memory card is perfect to me!), SLVR L7 and of course the E2. PS: Anybody here know where to get an unlocked V3c? Is this V3c possible to use CDMA RUIM (SIM)card? Pls help me...on this one??? Motorola ROCKiiing!!!!

mj..the screen is 240x320 according to the specification. Unless its wrong...it's big enough for any phone currently in the market. Frankly speaking, I didnt like the design though...too round!!
