my jaw dropped when i saw there's no EDGE!!!
motorola seriously dropped the ball again. I cannot believe there still haven't solved their platforming problem(i.e too many different yet similar platforms) I simply cannot believe why this cannot be derived from the v3 maxx platform!!! which is running the juix interface & also has slim dimensions.

the success of razr got to their head, i guess. motorola ur a brilliant innovator!!! but sadly not a very efficient one!!!

In response to mndynasty:

There will be no limit on the length of the recording of videos. You should be able to get around 5 hours packed onto a 2GB memory card.

In response to Penny's post:

The 8MB User Memory you see is only used for storage space and nothing else. It's not RAM, which is a totally different type of memory.

Given also that it does run on Linux I wouldn't worry about the performance. ;)

i have played with this phone in person...verdict...get the ming a 1200...the only difference is pretty much the headset jack and this thing actually uses SD cards so i guess you can expand to more memory (if it i supported)
I prefer the fact you can protect your screen with a cover with the ming though the e6 is slimmer and pretty much exactly like the slvr with linux

Finally a phone by motorola that looks worthy.
For a high end phone...why no radio or Tv????

So behind on technology in the west.

If it retains it's same operating style as its predecessor the E680i, then yes you are able to cut, copy & paste. After you have selected the text, just click the screen with the stylus, maintain the stylus point on the screen until this flower symbol comes out, then there will be a drop down menu. Usually for text, you have cut, copy, paste, select all, delete etc.

If you try it elsewhere, like say at a normal menu, then the drop down menu will be slightly different, with Properties, Rename etc.

Hope that helps, car-mon!
