i have been used this phone in 8months.. first of all this phone is great.. even th Linux OS is slow.. but you can modified your phone to a powerful motorola E8.. right now im using a motorola e8 MODIFIED unit.. and now the features of my phone is great than before.. i love this phone.. and if my phone broke, surely i'll buy it again with the same model.. :) more power motorola!! i hope that you will sell it again in the philippines

I hate this phone. I bought it around 2 months ago and i am regretting for buying it now.
Minus points:
*The phone is so slow.
*Doesn't Support vibrate and ring.
*Doesn't support 3d games(actually supports but lags like hell).
*Bluetooth is complicated and transfer speed is slow.
*When you want to watch videos, every now and then it keeps saying "refreshing your media list" and makes you wait for around 3-4 minutes.
*Supports no themes(unless you mod it).
*Camera is worse even in good lighting conditions.(Don't ask how it performs in dark)
*Earphones are very low in volume. You can't hear songs if you are in a loud place like trains or buses.
*Most of the applications, do not support this phone like Yahoo go!, Ebuddy, Nimbuzz, Opera mini(You have to search hard on the internet to find their supported versions.
Plus points:
*Sleek and trendy, looks cool.
*Mode shift technology is awesome.
*Touch wheel makes it so stylish.
*The wide screen display makes it different.
*While talking, it gives crystal clear sound.
*During music playing, even though its low in sound, its pretty clear.
*3.5mm jack allows it to connect to your home theatre.
*Internal memory of 2GB is great.
*The phone's inbuilt browser is very good. Speed is fine and the webpages appear as on a pc.
Overall, i won't recommend this phone. Its not worth the money you are spending. Try some other phone.

is the screen made of plastic? and it scratches? i want to buy this phone n i dont know if the screen will be durable please answer

you use "total video convertor" and 320*240 resaize video 200 kbit or more and 64kbit audio

I've use this phone just for a week and i seriously saying that this phone is rubbish.
slow slow slow OS. the phone cant set vibrate and ring. meaning, if ur in the mall, u wont notice ur phone is actually ringing coz you cant set it vibrate and ring.
unless u set it vibrate then ring. but its not cool.
screen is small.
okay, not all bout this phone is bad. the good bout this phone are it got crystal talk, u can clearly hear caller's voice even ur in a loud place, elegance look, good speaker.
overall, please dont buy this phone. find another phone worth your money.

I got this phone last week. Even though it is released in 2007, features are far better than 2009 models. Mode shift technology is really gives a bright look to the phone. I went made about this phone after seeing it in the movie Delhi 6.
But guys! Handle this phone very carefully. Regular polish makes this phone look like luxuries for years. Eventhough camera clarity is not so great, tiny camera on the backside gives corporate look for this phone. Music is not loud but its crystal clear. Phone worths your money. And 2GB internal memory is another + point with that contact list management with photo and schedule management with photo is too good in this phone. Perfect for the people who are in middle of high end professional life and music loving... As it looks luxuries and even features are also luxuries. Display is soo clear that we can't compare its display with any other brand like NO-KIA.
