The Carphone Warehouse UK website is still showing the name as SLVR V8 and they have only just added it to there site

For your information:-

The NEC L1 triband flip phone will be available from September with measurement of 90mm x 47.9mm x 11.9mm, 1.3mp camera & weight 94gm; but no card slot ... this is going to be the thinest flip phone ever !!!

I held one of these in my hands today...and let me tell you once you do too, all that you hate about it will vanish...it is an amazing phone...should hit streets by the end of October...early November...

... in 2006 improved version :( The innitial version to be shipped in Q3 2005 will only have VGA camera.

Yes, the phone will have a better camera: 1.3 Mpixel with video recording.

WHO CARES about camara and video and pixels you buy a cell phone for the phone you buy a camara for a camara dont you get it you people (not all) think the phone is about the camara well get a real one and get a real pnone !!!!!!

As well as improving the camera... they really need to fix the UI!

Software / menu systems are Moto weak link

Hope the delay is because Moto wants to change the camera from vga to 1mp ! Otherwise with just vga moto will miss the boat !

ok then just VGA, 640x480 pixels, video no mega pixle but good phone i think but moterola has to think all the features on phones matter it's 2005

i think the production of this phone is good. The design and color or this phone suites it, MP3, bluetooth, and camera is all you need but they gave all these other great features. this phone is goin to sell when it hit the shelves

Thats not true... it is the same camera that is on the V3... we got my sister a V3 and i like that cam on it... So, I am holding off my switch to cingular for this phone...
