Had mine for years. Survived all kinds of abuse. Right hinge finally gave out. Managed to keep it going by adding goop (carefully) to the hinge to beef it up. worked several more years. just bought another used one on ebay and will apply goop to bols...

this phone lasted 5 years with normal use (siting on it, dropping it, under rain, on construction site). After about 4,5 years it started to break apart - hinge gave in, rubber coating cracked and started to peel off, rubber buttons cracked and felt ...
