Record/Save then bring up the saved file and apply it as a ring tone. Make sure your environment is silent – or you will hear background noise.

This phone is built to MIL-STD-830i and has been stepped on by my horse, carted around in his mouth, dropped in his watter trauth, gone flying off my belt when riding, and took a trip down the road off my motorcycle. Four years and still going strong! This is the phone for the working man that plays hard.

I've had this phone about 3yrs. I get reception in places Verizon doesn't even know exists. The only complaint is the voice recognition program is not as good as it could be. This is by far the best Motorola phone since the Star Tac. When a phone more durable comes along I might consider changing. true this phone may not be text user friendly like a Droid or one of the other in that line of phone, but if I need to send text messages I'll get a PC. After all its a phone, and your supposed to "talk" on phones.

Have had my tundra for almost two years and still works o.k. This phone does not like "inside calls" whatsoever. I would expect more from Motorola seeing they have been around forever.....

Had mine for 3 months and spring is broke in the hinge. I have AT&T insurance and they say it is up to the manufacture to determine if it was misuse. There needs to be an CIVIL SUIT served on motorolla and AT&T for scaming hard working AMERICANS.

Inferior components and an inefficient menu fail this otherwise good phone. Outgoing sound in speakerphone mode puts the Sonim X1 to shame.

Inferior components (like the hinge) and an inefficient menu (call waiting) plague this otherwise good phone.

Purchased 8/23/10. I like the phone's raised and easy to read buttons and reception but it is unreliable. Video and email have failed. However,I learned that resetting the phone to default cures all problems, and you can then repersonalize. Hinge is very strong, compared to other reviews. Also, you can set the font size permanently, a feature lacking in the Razr V3xx. I would not buy this phone again, and only feel safe because my old Razr is ready to do service if called upon.

The hinge spring or whatever keeps the phone closed
is J U N K... My tundra flops around like a fish out of water...
It really looks like a reputable company like Motorola would put out a better quality piece of merchandise AND take RESPONSIBILITY when they blow it as they did with the tundra...

I am on my third Tundra, each one lasting about six months before the hinge breaks. I like everything about the Tundra except the hinge problem, I probably want buy another Motorola because of the price and hinge problem with the Tundra.

I work for a water district. Me and 2 others have the phone we have had several problems with the phones. One problem is it will occasionally turn itself off and turn its self back on. The biggest problem is the hinge we have have in about a 6 month period 3 replacement phones for the hinge, and 2 more on the way. I work mainly in the office keep my phone in pocket seperate from anything else, never dropped it and the hinge is broke.
