UPDATE - if u have the same number in the phone and on the sim..ad this can be done..if u want to put a ringtone to the sim number..the phone crashes..so..be careful..

Hello! Please help me! How can I see my videos that are downloaded on my PC? With what program? The BS player works but there is no sound. Have any ideas?

I got this phone about a week ago. I spent 129 USD on it...in the package i received a 32MB card and a USB data cable...
I will divide my post in good and bad :P
BAD:
1.Battery lasts only one day (i use it a lot,btw).
2.Installing apps is complicated, i'm still not sure i can do it using the software provided by Motorola
3.As everybody said: NO ir, NO bluetooth
4.No full screen picture view, instead you can see videos at full screen....
GOOD:
1.Big screen, high resolution
2.It's UMTS, not GSM! 3G rules! It's fun!
3.It has a kind of palyer included. You make a playlist, select "play", and than "hide". You will see it's easy to use.
4.I can't complain about the camera, it's pretty good.
P.S. It's silver.
NOW, does anybody has any ideea how to upload apps WITHOUT A CARD READER? I want to de it using the USB cable provided...

UPDATE..little bugs of the exterior screen..the speed with the card memory is..slow..and sometimes it can be felt..but for 129$+vat..it's the best..battery is..

..and max resolution of the camera is 1280x1024(1.3Mpixel)..no bluetooth..yet..pictures are..i don't know..let us say..fair quality for the little lens that this phone has..

google search for PST_7.2.3_GENERAL.rar; it's a Motorola phone programming..search and u shall see..
UPDATE: - when u fill your card with lots of midi ringtones (>80)and/or many java games(apps)(>5) it work slowly..is there a solution?..and u can copy the pictures taken with the phone camera to your pc by usb cable with mobile PhoneTools net upgraded to the latest version..have a nice day

i can't connect the phone to the computer..i installed the softwere, but it just doesn't recognize it! i am not much of a computer guru, so..plsss help!!!

bought it from vodafone:)RO..came with usb cable, cd, 32MB transflash card, cd with mobile phone tools; java upload it's not activated..but it can be with motorola pst tools..then java loader apears in the menus and u can upload java files with midway..anything about bluetooth?..take care all

I just got my new MOtorola v1050, and the earpiece in the phone does not work. Does anyone know a way to fix the phone? If it is just a software problem and not a result of the phone being dropped somehow while it was shipped? please help

I tried to install a jar file onto the mobile using the SD card method but when I went to copy and paste the file into the kjava folder it told me that it was write protected. I tried removing the 'read only' check from the box in the folder properties but it still told me the file was write protected. any body any sugggestions?

Hi Does anyone know what type of charger the v1050 uses? does it use the same charger as a v600 (v620, v60 etc...)? and if not where i can get one?

I think ot is a nice phone but is made in a rush. The battery lasts for only 2 days. And it has the tendency to make errors that are buging.

Does anybogy know how tu upload games into phone using P2kTools? or there is another program for this? because i don't understand a thing in p2ktools(russian language)..there is a version that works with 1050 in english? if yes where do i found it? 10x..

actually, at least on my phone, there isn't java loader in the settings menu.. you can turn it on with programs like p2ktools, but in this way if you do something wrong am don't do some backups you risk to damage your phone... it is possible anyway to load games via usb.. but not officialy, in the sense that at factory settings java loader isn't enabled on this phone..

It is very simple to install new games.
Just go to the settings menu and after that java uplink.
Turn java up loader on and you will be asked to insert cable.
After you had inserted the cable use your file management program to up load the jar and jad file.
This should do.

All the things you have written are all unfortunatly wright...
But i have to say that it IS possible to charge phone while you're connected via usb: the cable has to be the motorola one, not a compatible one though.. it's got a little connector on the side..
