i really miss this mobile as it was a first mobile cheap and best but it was stolen...but i wish such type of mobile's in market

I like this phone. I have the v171 since july 2008 (in Argentina v172). it had the flex broken so I have to "bend" it to see the screen. then it fell from 5-6 meters high and broke the screen. it looked like there was a bat hanging from the screen. then I fixed it until it broke again and I had to buy another one. (I bought another v171). however i like it because it is a simple phone and its low price makes easy purchase. plus it's small and lightweight. I dont mind the small screen or the crapy ringtones. i just use it as a phone and text message

why make this phone? who would buy it? oh, well my parents got them and (glad I didnt get one) the only reason they got the was because they were cheap. my parents really are cheap too. They won't even let me get a phone. I told them at least get razors, they have more to them, but NO! I'm a sad person rite now.....

this phone, well, let's just say it's not the best phone I've ever seen. i mean, there is no camera, the screen is tiny, and you cant even get it in any other color than silver! the antenna sticking up makes it look out-of-style, i would much rather have any other phone in the world than this one. Or, i would rather not even have a phone at all!

I love this phone it's awesome, I have a SE K810i but I still perfer this phone.

hey, the screen light in this cell phone has gone off, anybody know how i might be able to fix it? the light on the keyboard works, but not the one on the screen, thank you!

The problem with 'Searching, please wait' appears like 5 minutes after you opened it, not necesarily when it's charging. After 5 minutes it's all ok...

This phone sucks. I had it for 2 years cuz I couldn't afford buying sth else. And it looks far better in the pictures than it really is. Although I didn't hae any problems with it, it doesn't switch on and off or sth like this, it's a torture writing sms, the vibrator and the ringtones aren't working after an year and when you must lock it, it keeps unlocked and your battery will be probably over after a few hours. Also turn the phone off and wipe the SIM card

My friend has this phone, and I've seen it. The screen is super tiny, but it's quite cute and basic for the beginners.

This phone does exactly what it supposed to do - the basics! I only use call/text and the phone has served me well for 2 years. The only reason I am upgrading is now I want an MP3 phone. The V171 is a great basic phone, never had any problems with it.

The V171 is an excellent phone that functions well. If you buy a remanufactured V171 from Net10 and have trouble with the headset volume being to low, call customer service and they will send you another one and they'll pay shipping both ways. That's excellent customer support. The V171 is a reliable phone for an excellent price.

Oh my gosh, ok, i just got this phone a few days ago- everything seemed really cool at first, besides the small screen and no display in the front, but then i turned it off to charge overnight and when i turned it on it says "Searching...Please Wait". Well I Been Waiting For 3 Days now- i can't do Nothing! tried everything possible i think-tryin to keep myself from tweakin it to peices -paid $30 for 300 min. still have 286 min. left - This phone is rediculous along with the customer service. Is this phone able to Forward at all? its in the Menu but when i try n select it nothing happens.

Sure it has its shortcomings (many) but on advantage over some other phones with gprs functionality...it is able to capture(save) images right off any site visited even ones that charge for downloads....freeeeeeee images screensavers etc. freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is always a plus for.....meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
