I like this phone better than other Motorolas (but I still miss my old Nokia...). I agree with whoever said that the battery life was amazing.

One problem - I can't figure out how to get a custom made wallpaper into this phone. I found a website (www.moviso.com) but they don't support the V191. Can anyone help?

I have three phone: Nokia 6111, Nokia 6060 and this one. The battery life is, without a doubt, the best i've ever seen in a phone. My Nokias are ashamed. The battery refuses to die. Nokia 6060 should be the real oponent here, right? Nokia 6111, being ping, having blueetooth, 1mp
camera is no big deal... this motorola is my baby, what can I say? I love this phone. I used to hate motorola, but now... my hands are tied.
Bravo Moto!

Well This one is one of the best Phones-to-talk, Motorola has ever launched. Its perfectly priced-to-perfromance product and i would highly recommend people to go for this particular model if they want nothing but just a good good phone at the most affordable price.(Not to comment on the excellent battery life....)

Igor, I didn't upload any java yet, but friends of mine did and they told me you can do it with P2KTools or Moto MidManager.
What did you do to use the V220 driver? Anyway, use Motorola Phone Tools 4.04+ to use the proper driver!
And to the last anonymous poster, I don't understand the problem exactly. Is the problem the usage of iTap (predictive)? Did you read the manual about text messaging?

I got one and I´m very happy with it. I agree, it doesn´t have the expensive stuff but it´s cool. Can anyone tell me how can I upload java software (games)? I am using Mobile Phone tools with the V220 driver, but it doesn´t have a file manager. Can I do this? Thanks.

Motorola V191 works with mobile phone tools.latest version in http://vagos.es it has a search engine, it is in spanish though. You need Mobile Phone Tools V.4.04 which you can download from there.

Other than 850mhz roaming band and the blue color, this is the same exact phone that T-Mobile USA carries. A worthwhile Motorola without all the BS.

I had this phone for nearly 4 months, and I'm really happy about it. Of course it doesn't have all those expensive features, but I don't need them... It's a beautiful phone, but the leather pouch is not nice, although it protects it very well.
The battery lasts nearly a week with average use.
You always find things to enhance the phone, but I don't regret buying it at all.

HI! I just want to ask when will this be available in Philippines? I am pretty sure this would cost lesser amount of pesos...I want a phone that is more lesser in price because I don't have much money, However, I need a phone in my school and in my application process. To guys out there who knew where to find this phone please please help me. This sounds so great as what I read on its user's opinion. Thank you very much!-Ian

--Wash says:
very good, but it doesnt work with Motorola Phone Tools. It has some driver isues. Ive managed to make it work with "Mobile Master" but it doesnt fully support motorola phones.

Hey Wash!!, V191 works with Motorola Mobile Phone Tools, just update your software to the last version... keep updating so no more actualization are needed and then the soft will find your phone.
V191 works for me...
