im not contented with dis phone since i bought it coz its too hard to type and its not a friendly user to people..its hard to operate and \hard to search the manual of it hir in the internet. You must have a manual of it to search easily hir in the internet.tnx.

well if you want to send and recieve sms and to call and be called, this is the phone for you. if you're looking for more than this the v290 will be quite disappointing. nevertheless it serves it purpose as a mobile phone.

Nice design and low price. I bought it about 150 $ from Bangkok 03/2004. If u r not expecting so much technology from mobile phone I can strongly recommend V290.

i bought Moto V290 two days ago.
hmmm...
buttons are kinda too small..
but good signal, nice simple design..
i would say 8 out of 10
recommanded for those who want a cheap and nice phone.
one of my friends said that it's quite sturdy too.

the motorola v290 does not have blue tooth so it is crap other wise a nice phone
