how do u change the faceplate and can u use the speakerphone to record ur own ringtones, if so how do u?

i owe this phone and i love it. it`s totally moddable, oh, about the problem of the guy some posts below, i know how to fix that, you need a program called p2k tools and the usb wire.

Had this phone for about 6 months - no problems with it at all. bought it as P-A-Y-G and just swapped sim card over. Thinking of swapping to LG c3300 ( free upgrade ) - would be interested on opinions

i ordered this phone april 12th 2005 and still have not recieved it from tmobile yet. they constantly tell me that this 2 yr phone is on back order. i called a local tmobile dealer today and he advised me to cancel this order because these phones are being taken off the market by motorola because there has/had been major problems with the phones software, and networking. i would not advise any one to purchase this phone. and shame on tmobile trying to sell me a faulty phone. after my contract is up im switching. tmobile is dishonest and unloyal to their paying customers.

My sistr has this phone and it has been nothing but trouble since she got it. It has been fixed by motorola 3 times already all with the same problem. When she recieves called you cant hear them but it shows that they are there. She is not happy with the phone and Motorola are happy to exchange it for a different model

Then i turn on the phone, I enter pin code, when it asks to enter subsidy code , what does it means subsidy code, It is like security code, isn't it????????
Please tell me what ir means? Maybe there are dafault code?

I got a Motorola V300 in octomber 2004. I am noticing that the volume on calls is Very weak even with the volume turned all the way up. Highway noise easily drowns out callers. In a bar or corwded place? No way. I'm suprised there aren't any more complaints on the reviews for it. Is there a software fix out there? Thanks.

i just recently got the v300 and so far so good, but i wanted to put my own mp3 ringotnes in it and the manual doesnt really tell you how to do if anyone knows i can do it pleasee email me and let me kno because $2 for a 9 second ringtone from t-mobile is bullsh*t.. other than that if anyone can help me be able to put my own mp3 ringtones on my phone i'd really appreciate it

Ok, the v300.... some of you guys say its a great phone, i wish i could say the same. I take pretty damn good care of my phone, its never been dropped, nothing has been spilled on it, and its in a protective case. I had to exchange the phone once before because the f*cking speaker is very very soft and sometimes it doesnt even work. Also the phone never wants to charge right, you plug it in and have to wiggle the damn cord. Yes it is a oem motorola charger and yes i did buy a new one. So in all, this phone is a piece of crap, It was a great phone until this crap happened. Now im buying a nokia n-gage qd b/c i heard they ahve the best reception and the speakerphone is great, also software is easy to find on it.

I think this phone is not only stylish but easy to use. The phone looks faboulouse and is even more fab inside. I had no problems and have had it for 9 months. Would reccomend to all.

Great Phone and also light phone ... it's simple to use and applicable .. but i think if it's supplied with infra red it will be better

I got one and it kept turning itself off. Got another and that one has lasted me a year so far. Its user friendly and is very attractive to my eye. Don't let peoples opinions put you off - only go with fact. Have a look at them yourself in shops?

This phone broke down on me on the very first day. Reason? It won't charge and even the tech at the store told me it is defective fresh from the factory.
