lee you need to change connection.
press menu-go to setting- go to connection-
usb setting-change to memory card then your computer reconize your phone. and simply drag the mp file and drop in audio folder.you play mp3 after that.go to-fun & app-go to sound or game & app- digital audio(make sure you flash card in your phone before you drag the file.)

my phone hangs if i try to view pics taken with the medium resolution settings. anybody knows why?
mp3s need not be converted to mp4 in order to be used as a ringtone. just save it under the phone's memory.
find the the file in the 'sound' gallery/folder. then hit the Menu >Apply as Ring Tone

hey joe.
you need to convert the mp3 to an mp4. some pc music converters will do this e.g. 'easy cd-da'. mp4's can be used as ringtones or message alert etc. you need to copy it to the phone memory though, not the additional memory card :)

I like the phone to start off I had it for about two weeks. Then it started to blink out and lose the signal and background would be gone. I called Tmobile for help they told me they would send out another phone. But I told I would pass and just return there phone.

btw,
The charger is in the form of mini-usb.
So if you already own a digital camera, then you can plug it straight into your PC. It comes up as a removable drive like a usb drive would (It can be charged this way too, whilst uploading mp3's or photos). The data transfer is slow though. I got one of those usb drives to insert the transflash card into, and this is a much quicker transfer rate. However, those little cards don't like being removed all the time though.
Hope this helps :)

Some answers from a user of this phone (v360).
The pic quality is very good, 640x480.
The speaker is also good, for the size and what it is. It does sound better in a pocket, so the harshness is removed when at loud volume. You may have to re-encode your music files to 128k/bit as it only supports upto 128k/bit (my only gripe).
I plug it into my car stereo mainly. The sound quality is as good as would be expected from 128k/bit files. The volume is ample.
I would recommend a 512Mb card for anyone thinking of using with it, as it only somes with a 64Mb card (only enough for one or maybe two albums at a low bitrate).
It was a bit heavier than expected, but function = weight.
p.s. I did not buy this phone, it was a free upgrade. It did stop me from buying one of those small mp3 players though, as it served it's purpose = music on the move.

CINGULAR. Does anyone use this with Cingular? I bought a Samsung D600, and it was an AWESOME phone!! But GPRS and MMS didn't work with Cingular, so had to return it. Does internet and MMS work with this phone on Cingular, anyone know?

For the T-Mobile V360 users, does this phone come with software CD for synchronization?
(I read some providers include that - proabaly not in U.S.) or we have to pay $30 to buy that? Without the CD, can you still copy recorded video/photos off the flash onto a PC?

Greetings.
I just had my V360 for 5 days now.
The design, etc are ok. My problem is the speaker sometimes doen't function properly, i.e. no ringtone was heard, sound/video files can't be played.
Anybody having the same problem? Any solution?
