I have proved it during 2 days and i am really impressed. The best phone i have had in my hands. Wonderfull screen and camera. The menu is fast and easy to use.
If you prove it you will say "I will get one"

This phone costs £180 on orange pay as you go and £220 on vodafone live pay as you go

The usual Motorola effort (eg get the work experience kid to do it in his lunch break). Browser is terrible and hard to use. Generally you would sacrifice just about any of the features on this phone just to get a better user experience!! Buy a brick, costs less and does about the same!!

Excellent phone really a v600 but less expensive, it only misses out on flashing light(v600 has this), and video recording and playback, this phone is called the v525 on vodafone live @ £220 pay&go/ orange pay&go @ £180 value for money or what!? - gonna replace my v200 ?! ( oh ant its out in 3weeks from post) motorola are gonna get back the title they deserve of brilliant phones

I want this V500 phone (and the V600) to really succeed for Motorola. If they can get a few hit phones and improved interfaces out the door, they can be return to their rightful place as world-class contender.

Some of their stuff is dreech. I hope that new product in the next 6 months changes that around.

Why you need melody composer?V500 has mp3, waw, pollyphonic ringtones!!!You can but any music what you wnat in that phone!!!You dont need melody composer.
But otherwise, i think there is somekind melody composer.Maybe not polyphonic composer, but normal!If you know, what i mean:)

the v500 is really a beauty.
i am looking for a phone with camera and was thinking abt panasonic gd87 or sony ericsson t610 (read some bad reviews abt the se), but this might be the one.
hope it will come out without simlock as well.

is it normal v500 has 5mb memory while it is written that V600 has only 3mb ? what is situational lighting that v600 includes?
