from what i have been told, the v525 has been specially made for vodafone to enable users to access the vodafone live content and that there is only a very slight difference between the v500 & 525, though the only v500's i have found 20 - 30 pounds cheaper are on the orange network,are branded with their logo and locked to that network.

I like this phone but find it difficult to purchase in time for Christmas. The reasons vary from it`s too new to software problems resulting in the withdrawal of this model from the retailers. I`d be obliged for more info as I have refused some tempting offers from varying retailers for alternative brands. Also can I download pictures I have taken on the V500 to my pc for editing etc. Thank you.

Writing SMS messages is a joy using the new ITAP technology. There is a message length counter at the top of the screen, so you can keep an eye on the length of your messages.
The new ITAP technology remembers your most commonly used words and attempts to guess what words you are trying to type. E.G. if you use the word Experiment a lot when typing your text messages, you will find that the word will either come up first in your list of predicted words to use or it will automatically be displayed on screen when you type for example, ex. I believe that this version of predictive text technology is the best available anywhere! (better than T9)

as many of you no there are to of these phones, the v525 and the v500, apart from the v500 being around £25-30 cheeper is tht the v525 has a vodofone logo on it. apart from that there is no difference. id rather bye a v500 then but a £10 sim card, saving of 15 pounds. yay!
