What can I say? It's a very good phone! You can customize it as well as you want, you just have to buy a bluetooth adapter for the PC (mine is TRENDnet TBW-102UB) and then U can download MP3, MIDI ringtones, Images, etc. It is very easy... just copy from the PC then paste it to V620 and that's all.
hi, can anyone help me as i cannot seem to recieve items from other phones on bluetooth but i can send things..email me please
Dont buy. Phone software problems, pc software problems, unfreindly user interface. T9 text has a mind of its own. Stopped working twice and retrned to shop. The video and cam is poor quality, a gimmick to sell it.
hi well i have this since 5 months but my problem is how to download ringing tones coz my t-mobile does not support this fone im upset cz i cant use my features pls try to help me out i want to use my sounds as good as sound
Caution!!! that thing about expand memory for V620 works BUT it mess up my phone real bad so i wouldnt recommend anyone to try it, it was posted by KURT the other day i try it now my V620 cant boot up, now it going to cost my a new phone now :(
You can have more than one item per person in the Phonebook, it is just different than others (i.e. Nokia).
>Menu / Setup / View / Primary Contacts
Promary Contacts makes the default number for the person listed. When you then select that person in the phonebook, you can scroll through other details using the directional pad.
Message Alert Tone is changed within the Ring Styles Settings of the Phone:
>Menu / Settings / Ring Styles
Then select the Style you want to customize (i.e. Vibe & Ring)
Below the selected Style should be the text
Vibe & Ring Detail. Click on that and you will be able to change all the tones for the phone IRing, Txt, Voicemail etc...)
Hope this helps.
Oh, and I think this phone is pretty good. Bluetooth PC Sync, nice reception and battery life and its comfortable to use... IMO...
v good phone but i have only found problem wiv it were is the usb port cuz i cant find it if any one can help me id b gratfull fanks
I've managed to enlarge the phone memory from 5.5mb to 7.5mb with p2k software by deleting the phone's own clips and large mids. If you try so be careful what you erase! If you erase something wrong, you're phone may require a software rewriting.
Gd phone exept i cant get wap 2 work and theres hardly any memory on the phone

Can you get extra memory for this fone email me pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez
So i just got the V620, i must say i love it. I did run into the internet WAP mMode problem, but after 2 hours of messing around i fixed. wanna know the solution, well here it is, get ready......DUN DUN DUUUUUUN: All you have to do is call you service provider and ask them what the settings need to be to get on the internet. They guide thru it, and tell you what to put in each spot, and POOF, i was surfin the net in a matter of 4 min. SIMPLE!!
It is by far the most sleekest phone i have ever had...the only draw back is that there is no card slot n the memory allocated is too less.
i wanted to know that if the motorola v620 has the aol instant messenger software inthe phone or not cause i like this phone it looks great but if any body has info on this phone on the aol instant messenger.
out of all the phone i had this one is by far most the stupidest on ever. i don't know why the hell i switch to motorola. i waste my damn money.. the memory is so friggin poor only thing the camera clean but the video recorder isn't. stupid lame ass phone
Dwayne, i dont know where you got the idea of only being able to store 2-3 x 15-20 sec mp3 in the phone? I have about 10 mp3 ringtones saved, plus a tonne of poly ones, plus stacks of pics, plus about 15 videos that go for about half a minute each (or more)plus about 100 msgs and i still have plenty of memory left. I love the fact that if someone has a ringtone i want, i can get it from them via bluetooth. It rocks. the one downfall? The phone is sooooo slow!
ive had this phone for only 2 days and i can not stand it. before that i had a v600 and they all have exactly the same problem. when ever i press any button or even if i wanted to type in a message the connection is pathetic. its to bloody slow. i dont know what it is but i seem to find the looks of motorola very nice. i want to now buy the v3 and my family are not pleased. my brother knows more about phone than i do and he tld me all about motorolas. he sed dont even waste your time looking at. everything is wrong with the phone. it always has been and it always will. try something other than motorola. i think i shud as well. even my land line got a better review.id say
