HI! Am planning to buy the V635 first thing Monday, and reading the comments posted so far am a bit confused about wheater or not you can listen to mp3s stored on the memory card str8 from there or do you have to move them to shared memory? 1 main reason I want this phone is for the mp3 player, if I have to transfer every song I want to hear that would be awful...

Hi emma,
T-Flash means TransFlash it is another type of memory card and you can pick them up in England for about £25 but I don't know about any other countries they are really small nd just fit on the end of your finger like a contact lense
Any Problems mail me or add me on MSN

This phone is the dogs dangerlies...all its features are the best i have had it for a month now and its so easy to use you can play mp3s whilst the phone is shut and the camera is brilliant i would recommend buying a bluetooth dongle as the datacable is rubbish...you can pick up a dongle for about £15 from ebay
If anybody wants any help on the phone I know most features about it...Email me on...

i've had this phone 3 months now and at first i thought it was total pants.however it has some clever features such as being able to download music tracks mp3s and use them as ring tones and the memory card facilty which gives you lots more storage. but on the negative side the actual build quality of the phone is poor and i've had problems plugging in both the usb and the charger leads, was getting no contact at all with either of them .so now i have to clean the brass connector on the base of the phone with a cotton bud and a squirt of wd40 every couple of days and i really shouldn't have to do that with a £300 phone. the last time i had a motorola was a star tac about 6-7 years ago and i think it will be as long again before i get another.the last 2 phones i had were both samsung -i should have made it 3 in a row and got a d500 or an e720.
motorola v635 -good functions ,excellent camera quality wrapped up in a very poor quality case. 5/10

Well I ended up buying the phone and what I see so far I love it!!! Only problem is that i'm having issues connecting to my computer via the USB cable. I don't really want to buy a bluetooth dongle if i can get the cable to work. Seems there is a compatability issue with windows not recognising the driver. Is there anything I can do?

Hi all,
I have just bought the Motorola V635 but I have a problem playing MP3 files: the phone crashes without any reason and in a non-predictable way (not always the same song, not always the same point) with both the "Audio Player" and the Java "MP3 Player". The screen became white and after a couple of seconds returns to the usual background. I didn't understand yet if it is a software bug or it is a problem reading the Transflash card (or something else).
The crash occurs after few second of many minutes, there's no rule.
Has anyone the same problem? In your opinion, is it an hardware issue or a software bug?
Thanks to all for any help, bye
Marco
