Best phone ever. I still miss it. I had this phone for 2 years, just recently upgraded to KRZR. Only reason is because of the 2.0 camera. Would recommend this phone today.

Bloody amazing phone stacks up there with the e398/ROKR, Though it may sound like a v3i, I have to admit that the v3i is nothing on this phone, the v3i is to fragile dropped this phone many times and only minor scratches :)

hmm has anyone using this phone ever noticed that when you take apart the front steel shell where the microSD is , theres alot of dust and dirt that had been contracted =S

great phone still...very durable...and decent mp3 player..colour quality is decent too..i lost sound through the reciever after a year and a half so i ended up having to use the headset or bluetooth...i never expected after for almost 2 years since its been released that it still is better i should say than many new current phones.

great phone. used it for about 7mths until the external screen cracked since my friend sat on it. then the battery started dying and only lasted like 4 hours..
currently own a SE w850i but i still wouldn't mind using this phone!
did everything that i needed it to do =)

can someone please help me... my screen went blank and now i have to change phone cuz i cant see anything... can someone plz tell me how to save my contacts to my sim step by step because i cant see what im doing... thank you

Had the V635 for a year and a month and it's been great. I use it for my mp3 listening pleasure everyday, it's slow going from song to song but bearable. Great sound quality with headphones and speakers. The only thing I would change is the receiver's loudness, it's too quiet, even on max volume.

i have a v635 for almost a year now, great phone overall, durable and good features, i just love the fact that i can upgrade my memory with the removable transflash that goes up to 2gb.

Total trash !!!! screen went white after 6 months, never was abused. Speaker crackled after 3 months

I bought this unlocked phone online because I needed a quad band with camera and video. I have not had any of the problems that the others listed and I find it easy to use and a valuable tool for me at work. I've used it throughout Europe in 4 countries and also in Central America and never had any problems. It has been roughed up alot, I've dropped it several times and it's a bit scratched up and beat up, but it still works great. The pictures are very good I think. I use them for work. I would recommend it. If you don't like yours please send it to me.

Hi, Is anyone know how to delete the preset wallpaper and screensaver in the phone memory? When I select the file I wanna delete, there is no "delete" function, so I "mark" the selected file, then "delect marked item", still doesn't work. I want to clear some space to ringtone and dedicated photos. Please help...

to dave: to create mp3 ringtones and save phone memory @ the same time, you can download a song mixer program and cut the desired song to whatever part you want (i usually just have the song cut to 30 secs) then you upload it to your v635 via usb then when its on your phone it will be under sounds...to make it a ringtone..press move which is usully found under the middle menu button (once song is selected) and send the song to 'Phone' .. then when the transfer is complete you can find the song under your phone folder or mainly under ring styles.

just wanted to know how i can put mp3's into my v635 as a ringtone but i only have a standerd usb which i dont think hooks up to the phone..i also have a bluetooth thing that hooks up to my usb port on my computer (AmbiCom) i have no idea wat its for but wondering if i can use it on the piece it says bluetooth.... whenever i scan for bluetoth devive with the phone it says none found..?

Now on my 3rd V635 phone in 18 months. Keeps losing ringer volume. no audible ring tone. Not sure why. Will have to change if this one goes the same way.

I tried to connect it to my computer(windows xp)so I could download photos.A popup appeared stating that the icons may not be compatible and that proceeding with installation may cause the computer problems.It did,and i spent ages trying to uninstall the program.Also the ring settings change themselves 'usually to silent' by inadvertently pressing the little button on the side when it's in your pocket.
I'd give it 1 out of 10

Piece of rubbish, wont buy a Motorola again. Always had the "V" series and were happy. Bought this one for the expandable memory and the stereo mp3 player (also fitting existing car kit).
The phone locks up, especially on the car kit (guenuine Motorola). Reception improved after a smaller antenna was fitted. Video average but too short. memory doesnt work, bought larger memory (now works in PC) but not phone. Cannot write video or music to memory. Cannot play MP3, exept standard tones on phone memory. Why would they supply decent stereo ear buds if you cann't play chosen music. Reading comment of the photo flash, what flash. I thought it was a visual design only. Pitty it cost so much or i'd throw it. Anyone want to catch!

Had this phone for 2 years... never had a single problem with it. The camera is not the best but is far from the worst I've seen (Nokia Camera Phones). Screen is clear maybe Nokia should take some pointers from Motorola, I've only seen a few Nokia's with screens that are not blurry. All in all, a good phone, not the best but far from the worst.
