If you got 200 to 300 $ to spend and want this phone and only like motorola here is what i suggest.Buy a Time port instead.The V635 is not a smart phone but it works so bad god knows why.Camera is useless.Video is too.Memory is ridiculous.Can't put more than 256 in it.so why buy a phone for the beauty of it.Get the time port and get your self a cheap Mps 3 player instead

Recently i met a guy on the bus stop who told me lets change phones.My V635 was only 1 week old and the guy had a 4 year old siemens A 35.I swapped it in a heart beat and you know what i do not regret it because on the Siemens A 35 although old you can receive calls and talk clearly.The V635 is not a phone but some time of expensive calculator that freezes all the time.Motorola should add a new lexicon to their advertisements "Motocraporola"

Don't Buy This Phone.Freezes allot.Switches off from time to time.Back cover loose or sometimes unable to remove it to access battery pack.Takes a rocket scientist to open the front to access memory card.Video quality is simply worst and why did they put a flash if it does even work properly at night.Look for something else than the V635.It is simply craporiffic

I had this Phone for a year now and i just sold it for 1/3 the price.I use to like Motorola until i bought this phone.It scratches easily and freezes nealry all the time.Not only my model but nearly everybody who has or had one say the same thing.Memory is usless.Comes with 32 card and 16 internal but you can upgrade to 256 .If you put 512 it starts to freeze.Sometimes you want to watch something from gallery and it shuts off.You have to constantly format it so that it works fine for a while.The Camera is good but misplaced.Lots of dirt gets into the lens quickly and it is hard to clean.Flash is inadequate.If phone is openned and you have a plastic case to cover your phone then you cannot use camera.Mp3 sound is good though but takes time to load and you cannot download any games on it easily .80% games i tried do not go.In one word if you are thinking of buying this phone don't.It is going to ruin your Nerves.

Thank god! I was so annoyed by this phone, that i`ve changed with my mothers Nokia 1600! Motorola phones are the worst thing happened! The phones software is wick, not too many multimedia posibilities, camera is thw worst, video function is good, but the lenght of the video is only 30-35 seconds. No way of theme or games downloadable from PC...Anyway, Motorola phones are the most boring! I tell u like a friend,SE and Nokia are the best phones!

This phoneis superb except its messaging features. You can't save a lengthy message before sending it to someone. Its message-saving folder (quick notes) can only save 160 characters at a time. Otherwise, its a better set having most of the modern features.

Any charger compatible with v300/v551/v600/v620 is compatible with this phone

I just bought this phone on ebay and realized after the fact that the charger was for European outlets. Is there a charger for a US phone compatible with the v635?

i luv this from moment i saw it, i even bought but it was lost but i still bought another one.the feature is great it have everything that want in a phone mp3 camera video compatible with fm radio headset bluetooth cardslot etc.

good features, not a very nice design. Too fat. Laggy like most motorola's. Pretty good camera. The back cover for the battery falls off all the time. Overall, not a great phone but it has alot features for the price, and it also came with a free 512Mb TF card where I got it.

Hi.I don't know what could be the problem.It is possible to be the memory card.Try to take it out and restart the phone and put it back.But also could be a software problem.

i have a problem w/ my motorola v635,
i noticed recently that whenever i take pictures it
tells me " CANNOT CAPTURE: CHANGE STORAGE TO MEMORY CARD" but whenever i go to SWITCH STORAGE DEVICE to try to change it, i couldnt find the memory card option, all i see is PHONE.
my SIM capacity is
IN USE : 46
and
EMPTY 204
what could be wrong w/ my phone?

for those whos phones keep freezing, check your sim card and make sure that is not a 3G, it will say it somewhere on the card, these phones do not support 3G sim cards, try a regular sim card, just a thought!!

I like the phone it seems to be convient and very easy for me to handle. its not the best phone in the world but hey i choose to buy it so if u are like me why not give it a fair try.

You can change the video time here:
Camera\Go to video mode\Videos Setup\Video Length\Maximum\
And it's don.If you have a big memory stick ...you can make a good movie he..he.. :):)
