Don't expect to much of the camera.
For physical reasons the lens size limits the quality of the picture. They could put 10Mpixels in there, but would only get more noise, sorry friends...
It's not for fun that 'real' cameras have large lenses...
All Phonecameras i know off have lenses that make the quality close to a pinholecamera... VGA is stretching the limit already...

hi everyone. i thought i would chime in. i have had this phone for about a month now. it's a little thicker then the V600 but much lighter. i'm using t mobile as my provider and this phone works great with tmobile. no problems so far.

Incredible, 1.3MPix V600 has only 0.3MPix i just want to see picture made by this pone as i remember this one from V600 has big compression and look not so good as on the phone screen.

I love the V-series from Motorola specialy the V600 - V620 and now this V635 with megapixel camera is like made for me(exept the antenna).Great display(256K,good resolution), bluetooth,but I have a question: how are the megapixel camera from Motorola?Someone who has a Motorola whit megapixel camera tell me!Thx.

Motorola just made a 'winner' (V600) even better. Short term phone (like most) as it lacks UMTS which will be the standard from hereon. But I suppose who would want a small screen which would not be best suited for the UMTS services. Still worth selling my V600 and upgrading..well sort of.

I was caught by Tsunami!! I had Samsung E700 and a Motorola V600!! Both got wet!!
Only phone that worked afterwards is the V600!! Trust Moto V600 !! This could be even better

y motorola wants to make such keypads and the screen doesn't seems to be like my e398 ... but still i m looking forward for this phone then outside looks very nicer

This will be the next phone to replace my current v690. I wonder when will it be available in SINGAPORE?
MOTOROLA joins in the basic feature trend way too late than other makers such as LG,MITSUBISHI,MiTAC and NOKIA to include upgradable memory with mega-pixel cam. I guess this is why MOTOROLA looses its charm to most consumers.
The same thing compares to SONY ERICSSON when it comes to offer BLUETOOH in cheaper phone price tag.
Now the next thing that i hope the MOTOROLA will consider to add to their future generation V's is radio funtion...:D

Funny, I just went from the V600 to the V3. Maybe two months until I pay it off, but ya know what, I'm gonna have it for the next 2yrs because I can't upgrade until then. Hell, if I feel like gettin' a new phone, I'll pay for it. Its for me, so its worth it. I just discovered I like cell phones a lot.

What is the lens sensor being used, CCD or CMOS? if its CMOS forget it, this camera will suck just like the MPX220.

To Bazy - "clara" looks no were as good as the V635, Pics are circulating the web at the moment on various mobile forums, motorola is ready to be released now, motorola are only holding out on releasing the phone to increase sales for the V620, This phone will probably be available around the end of january, "clara" wont.
