I do love motorola and samsung phones, after getting used to the great sound quality I was never able to go back to Nokia since Nokia's sound is probably amongst the worst. Sounds like a broken toy! lol. Anyways I had the A1000 and it was AMAZING, just didnt like texting with a stylus thats all, yet I had this phone and I must say its a waste of money, the battery life is COMPLETELY DEAD after just 2 hours of talking. The phone crashes nearly everyday, constantly. It may look nice and have nice features but what is the point when it is not very reliable? I suggest the Motorola A1000 or the Samsung D500 to anybody.

i think it's ok! even if it doesn't have bluetooth or infrared and even if it's a little large i think it has almost everything u want on your phone. Till now for me the ideal phone was little and cute. Since i've discovered v975 i've changed my thoughts. I consider it better than every other phone even better than v3! I like it!

Right, to all of you people - I have the V975 here, and I can tell you that NO, it does not have infared OR bluetooth, but YES, it does have USB connectivity (haven't had a go with it yet, though), and I too have noticed (a) how hot it gets, especially suring calls, and (b) that the battery life is terrible. Shame, 'cause it's a great looking bit of kit, if a litle on the heavy side. And also, to those that ask, it DOES have an MP3 player, and it is free on a 3 contract (3 are offering some really good contract packages right now). I wanted a V3, but we ended up with the V975's instead! Still, can't grumble, as we had the LG U8120's before, and they were TERRIBLE!!

If so, how? also, there seems to be something called digital audio player, does anyone know what that is for? If you know PLEASE email me coz it's really confusing me!!

I have this phone it is pretty good the cammera aint that bad the 3G works well, the menu path is easy enough to use granted it took me three days to figure out how to change the time and date but got there in the end. so all in all a good phone, could have been great if it had a mega pixel cammera and bluetooth but you cant have it all.

Just found out fr other websites that UK or other overseas version don't have free TransFlash Mem Card in the box.
But my version actually comes with a free 64MB external Memory card, with an SD slot, in the box.
(phone internal memory is 16MB).

I have used this phone. Let me clear some doubts for u all.
1. NO Bluetooth. NO IrDA. Only USB. U can transfer all files, backup/restore phonebook, connect as modem using USB cable.
2. Video capture length is 3 mins for MemCard, 30 secs for PhoneMem.
3. To change to analogue clock, goto Menu>setting>Personalise>HomeScreen.

One question is, my V975 got no date display. User Manual saying that 1st line is operator name, 2nd line is date. But my home screen displays a long operator name and a short operator name.
any V975 owner got this prob?
