BEWARE !!!!

THINK 100 TIMES before BUYING THIS PHONE

well this is not a bad phone at all but it has allot of problems. Dotn know about other countries but atleast in Pakistan it has a biggggggg software problem.

It only stores SMS in the sim it dosent have any sms storage--- (750 sms well nothing like that)
Phone book entries are 200 --- not 500
It has charging problem -- never charge more then half
there is no sms delivery notofcation option in the set.

However talking about the good things its display is awesome and screen size is also good 128*128 at this price.
FM radio quality is great.
its handy and sexy

i bought it yesterday and i was only able to save 20 sms in it which is a big shit. i went to customer care centre they said its a software problem. then they changes the set i got a new one it had same problems and then with a gr8 effort i was able to convince then that i dont want this set anymore. and the warranty company allowed me to exchange it with a nokia 2310. i m happy now

well u should think allot about sms problems and battery problems and this set dosent have any resale value.

vaas man it store 750 msg only in index in send only 100 and ten in unfisnihed :) the problems appear whne u write a longer msg that are stored in 2 or 3 msg:) and the battery it is good u can listen up to 12houres of radio from full too 0if u just wanna talk this is a good choise.

da battery quality is kinda ok, but relatively it is sort of low compared to other phones, yet with full charge it can last for 3-4 days while using radio.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please thanks for this opportunity. I am very glad to be part of the Motorola family.

My problem is that, I am I have just bought this type of your phone (W208) but find it difficult to decode it. It is a brine new undecoded.

Please help me since I admire the phone.

Does it have Radio? Or can I get external camera should it is opened?

i just bought the phone and it's awesome!! but da only down-factor is that it doesn't hav MMS nd stuf! but basically it's worth for itz price nd has a good sound quality radio!! wat else can u ask for????? if u realy want a good camera, buy a digital camera!!! motorola has done a gud job!!thnx!!

this phone is quite nice but i'm not satisfied fully with this, as it doesn't have GPRS, MMS, web options. the volume level is also quite less.

Hey ppl !!!

I got Moto W208 today. I couldnt find 2 specz in my set. First it does not have SMS memory for 750 SMS. It hardly saves 25 SMS. Second the phone book can saveonly 200 numbers. Isn't it pathetic? What the heck this GSM Arena ppl are doing. I bought this phone after checking specs in this website :(

Beware in buying this phone. First confirm from cell seller about the sepcifications.

I am planning to buy this phone but I am worried about this phones headset, I would like to know that I can change or I can't change FM Channel with the headset like Nokia. Please please any one knows please reply me on this site thanks in advance.

Be serious this W209 indeedly break one of the best pillar even though there would be the stringent,stiff price war,promotional(below and above the line)the only solution u have right now of urs well established products (2310 and 6030)...

Market Views of W209:
Country:INDIA
target segement:age group 15-25 years
would get mega success in Metros
reasons:
*Budgeted phone having all the features which as per this segement the customers wants:
1.Stereo Fm(14 hours continously fm)
2.500 phone book with 750 sms storage capacity.
3.long lasting battery backup atleast 3 days which would alter the perception of motorola in india(very dismal battery backup) and would bind them to buy the next motorola phone.

well it is the first time that the company gives the TFT screen with 65k colours resolution (budgeted phone) which is the positive point to beat 2310 and 6030 where both are having lower version viz cstn.

well this would be this the right decion of motorola to launch in india . this surely give good volumes,makes the market share of moto twice and giving one step above the edge to the leader.

Its without doubts the Best Looking Mobile Phone in the market. And Has the design Similiar to the Mobilado Phones.

However the only flaw its the multimedia support.
Maybe the next verson brings a Camera, MMC slot and Bluetooth.

The best phone for people who just like to converse with other people. I would personally purchase this phone for work, instead of lugging around a really fancy one with a value worth more than $300 then losing it, trust me it would be a pain in the butt. (pain lasting more than 5 days).

hey guys/gals
stop accusing this model. I presume that you'll don't have better business. every brand has various models ranging from low end to high end to suite peoples budget and requirement. Instead of appreciating that this model looks good, well finished and functions pretty well, you stupid people commenting that this model doesn't have gprs, bluetooth, camera, edge blah!blah! don't you all feel brainless and idiotic to pass meaningless comments on a very very low end model.
this model is just normal, basic and user friendly and does it's job quite well.
Well done Motorola keep it up and come out with more budget models. I am sure when mobile sales sores, every manufacturer will be adding more features for less value.
