I can't believe everyone is complaining about the features on this phone. I bought this phone for $50 new - You get what you pay for! If your going to be cheap like me you get a cheap features!!!

If you want to take photos - buy a camera.
If you want to listen to music - buy an ipod.
If you want to watch movies - buy a tv.

> In reply to Dax @ 2008-02-13 20:01 from LBHU - click to readYou're totally right. It makes no sense to have a camera if you cannot use the pictures for anything else. Besides, changing some features takes more work than previous simpler versions

I got this phone for the simplest use: Calling and Messaging, but it still failed at that.

PROS
- Nice and slim design.
- Buttons are thumb friendly.

CONS
- Battery lasts 1.5 days (with almost no use)!
- It doesn't have a direct access to the Volume controls. You need to go deep to the settings just to change it or mute it.
- It doesn't ring or notify you of new messages if you're inside a menu. You ONLY get messages/notifications until you are at the main screen. Really easy to miss things.
- Sometimes it doesn't even ring to notify you.
- Writing text is harder than in any other motorola cellphone. You can't end words with "_" but you need to press "Accept" for each word. Yes, that means your thumb going all the way up, making the messaging really tiring.
- No MMS
- It has a camera but no way to export the images. Waste of money in a useless feature.

I have used motorola for years and I can't believe that in 2008 there's a NEW model that works even worse than any older model.

Don't trust in this phone if you need SMS messaging.

> In reply to u suck @ 2008-07-26 03:13 from vxmJ - click to readWhen you evaluate a device's specs, you need to consider its price group. As you can see here, this device is a low cost device, that's why no btooth nor infrared are integrated. You should consider to pay more for a phone if you're willing to have these functionalities.

What about the battery life?

How long battery backup?

What about the ringtone volume?

Can we listen the ring in a very noisy environment like heavy traffic jam?

Can we listen the speaker phone in a very noisy environment like heavy traffic jam?

Please tell me.
Thanks in advance.
