they should have done this as a high class phone, with 2mpx camera, gvga display etc. just because it looks so "pro"/ has a great design (imo better than rokr or razr).

While I can admit that this an entry level phone, 4096 colours is pathetic. Like someone has said before SE and Nokia are using at least 65536 colour screens. The difference is quite large when you compare.

motorola sucks! motorola, weve moved on to 256k, not going backwards to 4k like years ago...

yes im aware this is a basic phone but basic nokias and sony ericssons now have 65k screens!

nokia & SE for ever!!!

ofcourse this is low cost phone and cannot be near at any V3 or V3x like design or functions. I thing there was alcatel with same indication on front panel....

Umm... you people haven't a clue. This is called an ENTRY LEVEL phone. It's meant to be inexpensive, simple, and stylish. This is not meant to be a flagship phone or full of features. It's for the average user, you know, the 15-year-old girl set. It's not like they were like "we cant figure out how to put cameras and bluetooth and mp3 players in this phone"....

As I said before that MOTO running out of options and its high time they find some company who has some knowledge in design/mp3 player/Display technlogy/Camera/Camcoder and marge with them,... here comes the news.

Motorolla is acquiring from BenQ Mobile, a research and development center, associated development and test equipment and a team of product development engineers in Aalborg, Denmark.

Exactly i agree with anthony this phone is purely for calls and txting which there is a large demand for as a lot of people still get frustrated with mobiles that ahve gadgets if u think about it you want a basic phone what u gonna get a nokia 1100 which looks crap or a phone the same spec but looks good like this 1 its been perfectly marketed for technofobic people who just want a phone and as anthony said want a mulitmedia phone go buy 1

Yeh we got it. No camera..no MP3 ..No multimedia features fine..atleast have some memory and a good color screen. Moto seems not to even offer that. Are they gonna sell it for 10-15USD..dont think so.

All they are doing is still cashing on RAZR design...motorolla Capri..Canary...and giving some colors...ufff enough..I think they should just make Walkie-talkie..afterall they are best in that.

People dont seem to get the concept of a telephone. this phone is great. If you want a multimedia device then buy one. This is a telephone. Simple and perfect, with a great battery life.

Do you know what i dont get, why they make a brand new cool looking flip phone have 0 features, well not exacly 0 but no camera no bluetooth no mp3 no usb, its just un called for.

Can You belive that my post got deleted? Or I cant see it. All I sad is that this phone sucks. I sad DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. DO NOT GET ANY MOTOROLA PHONE. I used to have it and then I realized that every phone lacks features. I loved V80 but then I saw how easy it brakes.
