This very well may be, but this is actually the genius part behind the razr-design! They have moved the internal antenna away from the ear and into 'free' air, so the head blocks as litle of the signal as possible, thus giving better signal strength (and thus better REAL talk-time/speech quality)
On top: If you're afraid of braintoasting, this is reduced...

I believe it's a "razor" for kids that you don't won't parading around a two hundred dollar phone I mean it's dual banded(who does that) and the feature set is like a basic nokia candybar so there

Finally, RAZR V3 for poor people :)
I liked the desing but, the screen size and resolution sucks, it could be 176x220 or even bigger with a better display.
Like someone said below, better be cheap or no one will buy!!!

why motorola become great?
because they called in numbers but then it divided into 4 razr, rokr, slvr, pebl... sounds nice isnt?
next one bcoz of its sturdiness...
third one bcoz it is the one that have a phone that is affordable...
last one bcoz their style is unique...

Hei! hei! i think this phone has a very nice design n though very simple might get it as i am happy just smsing n makin calls "wink" though it would b perfec if have a vga camera.

Oh my dear god! Moto-stupido!
Did this fall out of someones christmas cracker or what? quite possibly the most pathetic rip off I have ever seen of a RAZR and by the same manufacturer - SHAME ON YOU ALL MOTO! (coming soon to a Woolworths near you.....ha ha!)

you ought be kidding me, a look-a-like razor but looks like a toy ???? what the hell is motorola doing ! don't mean that alot of people purchase razor they gotta keep making the same look, but changing features, colors n' etc... this looks gay.

Nothing is wrong with MOTO. This is what they were. God knows where did they came up woht the RARZ design (which is completely at odd with the rest of their design so far) and now they are trying to cash on the same formula. the chunky bottom part is UGLY! DAMN IT.get rid of it.

it does look likea toy but i wouldn't mind having it if i didn't already have a phone that dominates it but moto hasn't figured out that the boot on the bottom of the phone is ugly

If you read the report from the 3GSM conference in Barcelone you will realise that it is being released for the developing markets. Hence the lack of features.

So the front tells u if you gto a missed call or an SMS.. that's kinda neat.
I'm using a nokia 6060. Similary I think this is a great inexpensive phone but the main problem I find is I am unable to download my SMS and phone contacts!!. Give me infrared at least!
