I got this one today at around INR 3400 and I am absolutely not happy with its MP3 quality. Especially, when its herd through the headset. I am regretting that I could have invested 900 more and have got Sony Ericsson W200i instead.
Anyways, the rest of the things are quite fine considering it as a budget piece but if you are buying it for the MP3 then I would not recommend this as a good buy.
This is an amazing offering from Motorola. It costs Rs. 3500/-. And its USP is the availability of a Card slot to exapand your memory upto 2 GB. And the flip design is very decent and would make for a good companion.
Made in: China .January 2008
Sale in : India Rs 3500 with 256Micro SD card
Perfomance: Audio- Super
I use 1 GB Card and data transfer was very simple. Format memory card, Create Audio Folder and any song copy paste it or create sub folder inside audio folder. For image, resize pixels to 128x128 then copy to Picture folder ...
Bad about: Message clean all in message delete option will not delete bulk message!.

@ AJ , does it record voice memos or calls. If it does , does it have a time limit. Is the data cable and 1gb card sold with the phone.

I just bought this phone at around rs.3880 with a 1 gb microsd card. the phone is really good..... has mp3 ringtones feature, side media keys are given thats a huga success, wallpapers can be choosed on your own wish through data cable , has a 2.5mm headset jack , and the style is really really ..... so in my words you should go for it....
I have heard that in Motorola cell phones, you have to switch on the delivery report every time you send a text message. Is that true for this model also?
Any user please clarify
Thanx in advance.
Can anybody tell me whether the handphone quality of this phone is good or not, plus whether they can directly plug either 3.5mm or 2.5mm handphone in ? thanks.

Is music quality comparable with other competitors?
hey people, i really need your help. Motorola keeps making new w-series "krzr" phones, yet EVERYTIME they lack a certain feature. For example, w375 cool phone, no bluetooth or micro-sd slot. The w270, i know it's a budget phone but motorola should make another one with a camera. I have been waiting a long time for motorola to wake up and just make one fine w-series flip phone. If enough of us can go to www.hellomoto.com and contact them to try to convince them to make a w-series flip phone with Fm radio, micro-sd slot, bluetooth, and camera, they might actually take this idea and introduce one last w-series phone. They actually came pretty close with the w490, but it doesn't have an fm radio (Really important to me) So I would really appreciate it if you all could send motorola a simple e-mail telling them that they should make ONE LAST w-series flip phone with all of the features consumers want; bluetooth, fm radio, camera, and micro-sd slot, that's all we need! Thanks everyone!
how much is it?..can't wait for it to come out.. i dont care if this phone doesn't have a camera.. cheap phone with radio, usb, nice design,500 message capacity and card slot is too much enough for me! =)..
"7 African languages, Hinglish, Bengali, Tamil" hah, I'd like to have it just to see what those languages look like. And I'd never have to erase messages with 500 SMS capacity. I wonder what will the price be. USB and MicroSD too? What's "FM recorder for alarm signal only"?
Uhm... Motorola has been slowing down in releasing new phones and it wouldn't surprise me if they would not sell on their cell-division.
Seems to be a trend amongst American companies. Someone claimed that America does three times as much R&D as Europe, surprisingly much for so many small advancements.
