i have been using this phone since 2007 great works fine as at date

This was my first phone, not bad for a starters.

But unfortunately it didn't have bluetooth or video camera :-( The camera wasn't too bad, it would get its occasional good shots. The internet was VERY slow. As well as sending pictures. Also I couldn't download any music on it or put my pictures on the compter because it didn't come with cables. The phone is VERY strong and it would be very hard to break. The games aren't very entertaing either.

Although it lacked in features, I still loved this phone very much. I recommend it for a starters.

But then I found out, if you go to create message, then click the bottom right button three times it will allow you to text the common way without suggestions.

I've had this phone for 3 years, it is bombproof. it is simple to use but thats all.

what irritates me about it:
-the keypad is very unresponsive new, and terrible once over 2 years old. after 3 years of texting 2-6 times a week i have to press down hard to get a response.. (but most mobiles will do this)
- the memory is TERRIBLE. it can only store up to 100 contacts, about 4 very poor quality pictures and up to 100 messages (inbox and outbox combined)
- the battery only lasts a few days..
- sometimes the ear-level speaker will simply, not work. forcing you to go to loudspeaker.
-no bluetooth, never tried using internet.
-there are options to save text messages in inbox but not outbox (wtf?) (same for a couple of other features)
-games are terrible and was never able to load any on
-ringtones are terrible, never able to load any new ones on
-was never able to connect to my pc.
good for old people though...

i got mine from amazon, £12.99 + £4.99 p&p, its great for a starter phone, i only wanted it so i didn't have to take my blackberry 8520 to school.
the camera is not great but it takes the odd good shot now and then.
im kinda disappointed that it takes ages to charge and that it does not have a video camera.

Had this phone for 3 years - bullet proof. Took it on a cycling holdiay without a charger. Kept it switched off except when I needed it, about an hour a day - battery lasted 22 days !! Dropped it and got it wet many, many times. Not brilliant at texting and I guess it is fairly dated now, but if you need a simple, tough mobile, it is excellent.

This phone is good in the sence that it is easy to use, however, if your like me and like to text alot, this phones battery is not great. Phone lags when texting, and CANNOT SEND A PHOTO (takes a longgggg time, im talking hours/days)

other than that, have not had any issues with it, it doesnt brake easily.

Great phone, depends on your needs...
Pros
Easy to read screen
Excelent loudspeaker and good volum control, you can always ear the other end thanks to crystal talk technology of Motorola
Good looking and sturdy, will last forever

Downs:
Bad keypad, not an sms friendly at all
Slow interface speacialy when typing sms or deleting
Short internal phonebook memory, only 100 numbers which is bad byu today standards

So dependns on your needs, if you´re after a phone for make/receive calls, and call sound is what matters to you, excelent phone, it even has Crystal talk technology for a budget phone, and you want a stylish phone but your tight on budget, is a great phone.

If your looking for all the multimedia functions that it offers, forget it...

i don't recommend this phone, it's plain and boring, perhaps it would haave been good 10 years ago, however it's not great, even for a first phone, it's memory can't be expanded (no room for SD card), and no bluetooth, i mean OMG what phone doesn't have the basics. trust me i no from experience

ive had this fone for about 2 years now .. although it is very good looking , it does not function well .. the battery backup is hopeless ! it gets switched off many times just like that .. there is no option of a memory card .. the keypad is very bad .. even typing in it is very slow .. i woud not recommend this phonne to anyone .. !
