they said on the news that the W385 actually emits more radiation than other motorola models. The one in particular are the W385, L6 and L2. Luckily my L6 stopped working, so I don't have to worry about this...but apparently a study was done. I thought it was an urban myth as to the high levels of radiation from cell phones....

So they discontinued this? Well, I've got a W385 and I love it! It's a very cheap phone with all the essentials. And UNLIKE the razr, it's not ridiculously wide, yet still thin. The stacked display is a great idea too. The only complaint I have is the really small camera. Other than that, it's a very reasonable phone.

hey people, i really need your help. Motorola keeps making new w-series "krzr" phones, yet EVERYTIME they lack a certain feature. For example, w375 cool phone, no bluetooth or micro-sd slot. The w270, i know it's a budget phone but motorola should make another one with a camera. I have been waiting a long time for motorola to wake up and just make one fine w-series flip phone. If enough of us can go to www.hellomoto.com and contact them to try to convince them to make a w-series flip phone with Fm radio, micro-sd slot, bluetooth, and camera, they might actually take this idea and introduce one last w-series phone. They actually came pretty close with the w490, but it doesn't have an fm radio (Really important to me) So I would really appreciate it if you all could send motorola a simple e-mail telling them that they should make ONE LAST w-series flip phone with all of the features consumers want; bluetooth, fm radio, camera, and micro-sd slot, that's all we need! Thanks everyone!

Tyler is so correct. Motorola is going wild with so many versions of THE SAME PHONE. Seems their design engineers have blown an ee-prom in their brains.

Motorola needs to stop reintroducing the W375, there's the w220, w370, w375, w377, and now the w380. My god, i've never seen something reintroduced so many times. And they're all pretty much the same phone, just something new is added each time, ex. they added a camera to the w375, then they added bluetooth to the w377, and then they add an external screen to the w380, you all get my point!

I think this phone is just a 'little' revamped version of the W375. Intelligent marketing by Motorola but not intelligent enough to stop distribution of the W375 and re-introduce this model (probably with a new batch number also) priced higher than the former model.

Design? Being stuck with design is "nothing" comparing it to being stuck with their UI. It's practically the same since UMTS A835.

uh yea, bt atleast change the design for cryin out loud!
it wud stil be a razr frm my standpoint no matter wht. there's no uniqueness anymore. its like buying the same shoes bt w. diff colors... lol

The people are so wrong motorola is working in new devices some of them could look like the Razr but they will be much thinner and faster, and with new features, so motorola is working in new devices slim, sleek and top category materials would be included
