I bought 2 moto w388 mobiles one for me and another one for my brother.
A few days ago whenever someone sends me a message my mobiles used to show me some error "Message store failed" and i try to send message then it says "Error unknown" and when i approach the service centre they said they will replace it.
But before i received my mobile after replacement iam having the same old error messages in my brother mobile.
So please can anyone help me to get rid of this problem?

If it happens for particular contacts only,then don't reply them directly,,open a new message and reply them..It's because they've set "reply via same number" options in their mobile..
(or)
If it happens for all the outgoing message,,then it's the problem in your message setting..You need to know your service providers message center number,,after you got this type the number in Message->Options->Message Setup ->Service Center (Enter the number here)
Note;- Message center no. should be in this format +(country code)(number) eg.. +931111122222

am using this mob from Nov2.Toda i got problem in tis mob that i cant read sms msgs and cant send. when i went to service center there s one guy who have same promblem in tis mob.So decide yourself..

this phone is good but sound is varey low and battry back up is onley 2 hours tallk time

i bought my celphone a month ago and its good at all,only one thing i want to know how come when i call somebody when they answer my call the call automaticaly ended same thing when someone call me if i answer the call the other line whos call is automacally ended too.can you help me do i need to reprogram my motorola celphonei need your responsed ASAP

well i love this phone its sound is awsome..what a clarity....i just love it..only one prob is of the battery..only one day..neverthless its a great value for ur money..sexy design with comfortable keypad

i got this phone for a month
its very good.
the sound quality it is loud
fast
battery ok but im not satisfied
i think mot. need to improve and
concetrate on battery life of thier
phone.
i like the keypad and navi design
very nice and good looking.
but the body form maybe mot.should
make just simple,no unnecessary curve

well, i've checked it already...of course you can send on numbers that are not in your contacts...
simply type your message then press OK..after that the contact list will appear..but instead of choosing names there click the menu button..you can see the ENTER NUMBER option..just click it and type the number..and THAT'S IT!!!
CHECK BEFORE COMPLAINING...ok??

i just bought it hours ago..well..i found it good..the speaker is loud..i loved it...and the price is ok for me..compare to other brands..this features will cost 4-5000 already..
but...is it true that you can only send messages in your contacts? you're not allowed to tyoe a number..oh..i must check it out after charging..
anyway..having no blutooth and infrared is ok..atleast it has usb port so i can transfer photos in my computer..
and..honestly..i just bought it cause my phone is in the repair shop..but i think my money is not wasted..

This phone does not have a good battery life, you wouldn't even last 2 days with its battery. Also you'll have to type slowly when doing text messages because the phone lags if you type quickly when usually with other phones you can just go ahead and type as fast as you want. I would not recommend this phone to others, it just looks good but that's it, don't get carried away with its low price because its not even worth the money you are paying for.
