I had a motorola phone v150 or v180 something like that, before I got my KRZR that had a similar problem.
What it was is the ribbon that goes between the screen and the keypad part of the phone. Opening and closing the phone caused it to wear out and eventualy connections are broken. This is a disadvantage to flip phones.
I dont' know how long you've had your phone, so this may not be the problem, but I just thought I'd let you know my experience

I'm supposed to have unlimited texting but my inbox only holds 35 messages before its full. do you know why that is?

I recently purchased a Motorola W510 and have 2 problems with the phone:
1. Every time I insert the 1GB microsd card that came with the phone, the phone freezes and I have to remove the battery to reset the phone.
2. I am unable to connect my phone to my computer. I have the USB cable that came with the phone, but when I connect it nothing happens. The phone didn't come with any software and I am wondering if I need any specific program.
Any help anyone can offer me on these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Recently I download a song to my W510 phone through the PC connection. After that, it behave strangely. When I flip the flipper,
the display will be totally white in colour and will sometimes become normal and sometimes can't back to normal. Can someone let me know how to make it back to the normal function.

This phone does what it is supposed to do. It has decent features, a decent camera and is priced decently.
If you are on Fido you won't be able to set mp3s/mp4s as ringtones as that feature is locked out.

It's literally the most beautiful Motorola phone. I use it as my second phone and I really love it. Display is really nice, it could be just a bit bigger. It's a perfect, reliable low-mid class phone.

...see...what you have to do is...
...connect your phone to your computer via USB.
Then, look at files right click the file u want to rename,and rename...because this phone does not have that option to rename on the phone itself... :)

I bought this motorola W510 at junrex philippines ayala branch. I really loved motorola, the style and really looks durable for me. I'm a motorola fan but after I got my first motorola phone, it really is so disappointing that i've just been using it for a month and a half and I don't see any display on screen. The mere fact that i've taken so much care of it since its my first cellphone. I bought it first week of november 2007. But it's damaged on the first week of january this year. I went to the shop to get it fixed. But they told me that it could be fixed for 3months. too long for me but i waited. I went back to the shop april but its still not fixed until now. and they told me that it takes 6-8 months to get a replacement for a flex of motorola. OMG. who would want to wait for 8 months just for a replacement of a flex on your phone?. As a customer its really disgusting and disappointing. It should be a customer satisfaction due to warranties. but they are consuming my 8months warranty for a factory defect. Its not my fault if its deffective. =(. any suggestions to this? until now i still didn't get to play much on the feature with my phone.
