I could not scroll to my contacts either by keying in the first letter of there name, but the master reset worked for me

hey guys, Eddie here.

i was having the same problem 'acessing the contacts' so i called moto and they didnt know wut to do either, so then i just reset the phone, and now it works fine.

does anione know how to put mp3s as ringtones

when i put in the letter of a contact it goes directly to the contacts that begin with that letter so there is probably something wrong with your phone

/You shld not be seeing this 'problem' , the W510 I have works fine, the contact list shld match what you typoed . you shld probably contact the Mot cust service centers or hotline to verify and fixed this .

You could either scroll to locate the person you want to contact or type in the first char na dit shld pt you the person that match what u type..

Hi guys,

im havin a problem with this phone. When in the contacts list, I enter the first letters of an entry which I want, however instead of going to the entries that match those letters it goes to the very fisrt entry.

I enter 's' in my contacts and it takes me to Al

eg: Al
Eddie
Sam
Tony

anyone knw how to fic this. I called fido and they didnt knw wut to do.

I have the W490 which is the tmobile branded version. You can apply ringtones stored on the micro sd card. I've got it set to have mp3 ringtones stored on the card assigned as ringtones and have my pics stored on the 20mb internal memory. I imagine that I could probably put about 100-150 custom mp3 ringtone clips on my 1gb micro sd card.

The only gripe I have is that I can't get any of the p2k software to recognize the phone. Those apps freeze, but I can get my L6 and V330 to instantly be recognized by p2k tools 0.8.6. I've even tried p2k tools v3 and it still crashes.

does anyone know how to apply an mp3 ringtone as the ringtone? i heard that fido blocked this feature, but is there any way to get around it? do i have to get the phone unlocked?

007: It should work without any settings change, if it doesn't maybe there's something wrong with your phone.

EVERYBODY: Any comments on the camera zoom ?? I think it is a big lie (there is no zoom at all in the pictures, just in the screen).

The battery is good, if you use too much the camera or the speaker to listen to music it lasts a few hours, but if you give normal use it have 3 to 4 days. i would say the battery is not a problem in this phone.

you can set mp3 as ringtones for calls, sms, and for the alarm. you can use a full song as a ringtone if you want. besides it supports high rate mp3 and VBR mp3

the only problem with te camera is that it needs to much ligth , dosent works well in the night

the camera is good, the video camera is goood, and yes it can play mp3 with the clam closed. i have it for a month and i am satisfied with it.

Hi, I have a USB plug what do I do with tihs? and how do I find a driver?

Also, can we download ringtons with using the net. Do I have to buy the CD and plugs for that?
