I love this phone! It worked perfectly in 6 different countries. But I can't figure out how to download the pictures to my computer. I have to return it in a few days (it was a rental) and I have lots of Europe vacation photos on it. Can anybody help me?

The fact is, it's still GSM. You'd be stupid to think it should be removed because it also is capable of 3g/cdma.

I disagree with quite a few of you here. If this phone is capable of working on both GSM and CDMA platform, then this phone should be listed here. At least this gives the opprotunity to know about this feature and not think that the seller on eBay or Amazon is putting the spec wrong. As far as liking this phone - I love the Z6. Call me crazy -- but I have two Z6 and I might now get a Z6c. A Z6 is far better than Sony Ericsson W580i. Motorola is just doing a bad job not doing the proper marketing of this phone. They gave enough ads of Razr and that was #1 phone in USA for a few years in a row. Whereas, they haven't given any ad for this phone. Go to eBay and you will find that there are over 300 Sony/Ericsson w580i listed whereas there are less than 50 Z6 listed. Come on Moto - what will take you to understand the significance of proper marketing and ads?

Just in case you guys are not aware, 3G networks are developed based on CDMA "platform". be it W-CDMA, CDMA2000 1xEv-Do, etc.

I don't want to look at a phone with CDMA abilities, EVEN IF IT ALSO HAS GSM. Now, is that so difficult?

In the specification it says that it works on a 2G normal network too,not only in 3G CDMA network,so you can use it without 3G as a mobile phone.Just don't switch to 3G CDMA.Is this so difficult?
