1. This unit is targeted for China which uses EDGE predominantly.
2. Motorola will always be the best when it comes to communication... CRYSTAL TALK
3. This will be a good mid-ranged phone for the price.

From the look, ZN300 is really solid eventhough I've not seen the real thing yet but from many other actual Moto phones I've seen and felt before, I can attest to Moto's good foundation in solid design history so I must say I've confidence in this particular model. Talk about solid design, the MC 55 is really impressive, again I believe Moto designed that for a special and niche market. In this economic downturn, I believe more & more phone manufacturers are expected to come up with low to mid range products so Moto is not the only one to produce more reasonably priced phones.

The main difference is I like to "collect" Moto phones, hence I've bought more Moto phones than most average people (17 Moto phones in the past 13 months, no kidding!)
However, I do not have the same expertise as Stuart on any particular model. especially for "smart" phones or Windows Mobile, which I mostly use the "non-smart" functions only.
I just wish more people can really share their experience with the phones.

i'd say this phone is quite cute. different design from their traditional designs.
and motorola phones are really excellent and long lasting...

Not many guys hate Motorola here, so far the Anonymous under location code wfy$ and Phiafly are from the same encoded location so they are the same person.
There's no right or wrong in individual's preference, just what an individual likes or dislikes BUT I don't agree with some individuals condemning brands that they dislike just to obtain ego satisfactions and also show to the world that they "know em' all", but in most cases they don't know em all. I'll respect if someone's Nokia or SE fan so they should go to Nokia or SE's forum and help as many people as possible. Similarly, I've been in Motorola's forum here for some time now as I like certain Moto phones but I didn't condemn others and expose my immaturity by saying things like "yawn", X brand is 2 years behind and so on. If they have so much time to spend condemning and even provoking others, it's an early symptom of mismanagement of productive time, at least spend that time to help others instead of others spending their precious time to educate them - which I'm sure they won't like even a bit.

However, if the almighty brand who is so almighty to the point that it packs "everything" into a phone, how come it left out such simple thing like charging by USB?
The analogy is a middle school kid "should" have limited knowledge, while a college kid "should" easily outsmart a middle school kid.
However, if a college kid can't even perform the basic math of a primary school kid, we wonder how did the kid got into college in the first place.
