a lot of people think that all phones should be created equal and if a phone isn't high end, and if it doesn't have enough megapixels(lol who needs all that mp anyway? anyone care for pic quality?), then it's not a good phone a all. looks this one is a good mid range (take note, NOT HIGH END)multimedia phone. hope it gets released in the PH.

- charge any phone via USB...to realize ALL of such phones can also be charged by other types of chargers, including portable backup battery

- never seen the charger of the i-phone...which is nothing but a USB-cable plus a "converter" to the wall.

Z...

Please tell me you are wise enough to realize that charging via a USB port on a PC is NOT the only way to charge this phone.

It also can be charged with an AC adapter. The USB charging is merely a convenience.

To the uninformed:

1. This unit is targeted for China which uses EDGE predominantly.
2. Motorola will always be the best when it comes to communication... CRYSTAL TALK
3. This will be a good mid-ranged phone for the price.

Great design - really cool looks. Too bad it's low on specs and features.

> In reply to Stuart @ 2009-03-13 18:33 from vV5BYou watch to much Oprah, Stewie. Motorola is a has-been-wanna-be-won't-be company. Chew it/swallow it/digest it/pass it/accept it. This is definitely my last post on motocrapola. Over and out amigos. Yawn. Who's got a light?

> In reply to 100 Moto @ 2009-03-13 05:11 from Er2MThanks 100 Moto, after reading your comment, I felt I'm way too far off from your compliments. You definitely has helped many guys here and many other sites I've visited.

From the look, ZN300 is really solid eventhough I've not seen the real thing yet but from many other actual Moto phones I've seen and felt before, I can attest to Moto's good foundation in solid design history so I must say I've confidence in this particular model. Talk about solid design, the MC 55 is really impressive, again I believe Moto designed that for a special and niche market. In this economic downturn, I believe more & more phone manufacturers are expected to come up with low to mid range products so Moto is not the only one to produce more reasonably priced phones.

> In reply to Stuart @ 2009-03-12 18:24 from vV5BFrom my observation here, our boardmate Stuart has shared absolutely no less than what I've been doing.

The main difference is I like to "collect" Moto phones, hence I've bought more Moto phones than most average people (17 Moto phones in the past 13 months, no kidding!)

However, I do not have the same expertise as Stuart on any particular model. especially for "smart" phones or Windows Mobile, which I mostly use the "non-smart" functions only.

I just wish more people can really share their experience with the phones.
