Brrr..its getting awfully cold in here. Just some few announcements from other brands and then they're gone. Moto should really bring out their big guns! And i mean NOW!! Really chilly in here.

the lens is retinar!there is no relation between kodak carl zeiss!!!!!!only shneider kreuznaq!!!!!

A lot Kodak digicams have a Schneider-Kreuznach lens but ZN5 uses lens from Carl-Zeiss.

I think kodak doesn't use carl zeiss optics.
Kodak uses schneider-kreuznach. While we all know that sony uses carl zeiss on their digicam.
But if motorola uses schneider kreuznach optics it could have been a dif'rent story.

yeah, moto used only easyshare and perfecttouch technologies from kodak. the lens are actually carl zeiss ;)

i read again about the KODAK signature on the phone and found out that moto is a sister company of kodak and moto only uses the software from kodak and not the camera hardware! sorry for my english.. ^^

Finally Moto has got their heads out of their a$$'s! Not the best looking phone from Motorola but definatly a high spec phone. The Kodak camera and the nice big screen make it a perfect camera phone. There are pics of pics taken from this phone on Motorola's web site, cant remember the link, and they look great. Will definatly look into this phone once its out. Just hope Moto isnt late launching this phone. Would really help the company if they launched in Europe be4 xmass.

its an awesome phone. i dont know why it is not being advertised as a music phone also. the music is wonderful with its 3.5mm headset. FM quality in motorola is good. but the music presets are all fixed. manual preset is not allowed. this is one of the back drops.
Design is cool. its not ugly at all in any angle or view. the screen size of 2.4" is required since camera is 5MP. else the picture quality cannot be relished.
the camera is amazing. its d best of in comparison. the placement of flash is in a perfect position.
does this have RAW mode included in camera options? if it is then it is splendid.

I think this phone is going to rock. I'm definitely considering this phone, but I'm also intrigued with their soon to be launched 8 megapixel touch camera phone. Moto is starting to get exciting again. Good for them.
