This Phone Nec E228 nice. However, i wish the screen size would increase, for more video pixels, then the camera angle. this is if i wan't to take a photo where i don't wnt to be seen that I am. ie i can turn the camera its self ie some Nokias. The double sim card slots. internal sound for call timer. ie. motorolas. while talking a click sound tells you howmuch time used. Direct internet burtton. latest internet connections. More fomt adjustments. not only in messages. Call memos extended time and counts. Notepad counts and character increase. standing angle vertical in terms of visibility at desk. microphone possition. here some poeple put the phone too clooser on the chick thus preventing their sound form getting through. Loudseker while dilling before getting conected. Vibrations to be stronger. Tusk bar more functional. Otherwise this is my lates phone.

Can anybody tell me that how to set mp3 ringtone in my NEC e228.... I mean when some1 call me the mp3 ringtone should play...

Worst phone I ever owned, no redeeming features whatsoever, just died completely one day when about 3 months old. Utter rubbish!

the phone's quite good but, battery lifespan is short and very easy to catch virus.

its such a good phone with approximately all the feature which smart user require,
but the problem with the battery which dosnt have enough talk time and standbytime/

friends, first iam thankfull to you to give so many faselities in one set.
but the main problem is that when i download somgs in the memory card the phone do not show any thing . hence,sir i wan to solve this problem plz send me its solution .

hi,
i have nec-e228 cell phone,
now a days it have given some malfunctioning,
it starts normally and get the local network signals,
but after some time it is not response to the network.
no any call or message is done during this condition.
when we restart it, then it've run normally.
please tell me, whats going on with my nec-e228.

The phone is juss good, i used it for almost a year now though i bought it second hand and i must say i really enjoyed using Nec e228.However i have experienced a problem of finding softwares which can be used when experiencing flashing and unlockin problems.Iknow its not proper to discuss these issues but i reall need your help guys.I need my phone to keep on operating.

this phone is very good.i use one for almost two years and never dissapoint me.it has a lot of features that the new phones don't have.the camera and sound are very goods but only thing that dissapoint me is battery life and size.but anyway is a good phone.ps.i have the usb driver an cable.i'm romanian

This phone is a very well made and I like it a lot. Best candy bar phone ever. however I've not been able to get the video recorder to save anything. Wish there was a firmware upgrade. Hey Nec!

I have this handset for 3 years now.It has been great but the battery is always low.I changed it recently but it got worse.
This handset fell in a bucket full of water and it works but all the videos and everything stored has vanished.I thought this data was in the sim card and the memory status is still showing as full.Can anybody help please?
