Hey! You wont believe i still have this phone. Its very rugged. Unfortunately i misplaced the software, so i could no longer download the pictures i have on it.
Can anyone help with the software, i still have the data cable.

Ah I remember this phone, the first 3G phone I had. I remember that it came with two batteries. At the time of purchase I was naive enough to be impressed(!) without realising it was necessary because of the appalling battery life!
And the size! I still have it and compared to today's 3G phones it is a beast!
In terms of software it wasn't too bad. It didn't come with a USB cable or Bluetooth so the only way of getting ringtones to it was to buy a Memory Stick or e-mail them to yourself.
There was a software bug with SMS messages. Once you had too many stored on the phone, instead of queuing them at the network and prompting you to delete some old ones first, the phone tried to receive the message and then couldn't find anywhere to store it and then dropped it.
Which led to the unfortunate situation that you heard the SMS alert tone but there was no message!
It took ages for me to figure that one out and delete messages once I'd read them! Until then I kept having to ask friends to send messages again!! But I had to guess the sender first!
Whoever QC'd the software on the phone should be fired!

This phone made an excelent cricket bat when mine got damaged. Beat india on my own with this bat...erm i mean phone....

you go into settings then memory stick and format.
or go into the file manager thing and go into options and menus etc looing for memory stick and format
