anyone know how to dowload java games to this phone? which i have on my computer as it will not download games from my ftp site as i have tried just pic's and sound files and its the same with the usb cable

My son bought it yesterday. The advertisement said it had a videofunction but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me if it has one and if so where I can find it.

No... it is a sim card thing. If you change it to Contrat sim or sim from other network it doesn't have this function.

I recently got a NEC 343i - O2 - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone. Great wee phone, the only problem I have is once I have sent a text message it displays the balance and vibrates. I don't mind it displaying the balance, but how do I get it to stop vibrating?! I've switched 'vibrate' off in all the modes (car, normal, meeting etc) but it still does it. Is it just a built in thing?!

brilliant! i bought this after having a nokia 6822. its great if you dont want a high tec phone as the camera is pants and its not got bluetooth. but its a phone and it works really well! id recommend it any day

i think i want to get this phone either it or the Nokia 6020. This phone is cheaper but it seems a lot flimsier and more easy to break and nokias are more reliable. Any ideas?

Undecided...... do i like this phone or not??!! I like it, it's very stylish...... but try gettin compatible tones and java games for it!! i-mode is a pain in the arse tho.... i want my good old fashioned O2 Active back, where i could get my TV listings free... instead of having to subscribe to some poxy online magazine!!! Sounds like a con, another money making scheme..... well I ain't gonna get sucked in. Who needs all that rubbish when ya have the internet where you find all you need FREE!!!??

i bought this phone yesterday and 2 of my buttons have snapped off, it looks like they had just been stuck on with some glue! very dissapointed because the designn is so original.=(

Bought this phone 2 days ago as my old one became a bit embaressing.lol.As soon as i saw the NEC i thought what a smart looking phone and so lightweight.Im not really in to mobiles aslong as it sends texts and does it job making calls.Since the 2 days i have been using it all my mates has said what a smart looking thin phone it is.I have to agree with them i love the white miminal look with it and im made up with it.:-)

Hello everyone,
Does anybody know how to connect 343i to PC?
I tried to use standard mini USB cable, but the drivers I've downloaded from nec.ru do not work correctly. When I plug in the phone, it is being recognized as some kind of xx-modem etc.
Many thanks for help (if any) in advance
P.S. Phone is great, really slim, but slightly heavyish

bought the phone today online at O2 as the shop won't match the £49 online offer.
did not buy the phone for features (sounds pretty basic), but as a replacement for my five year old phone. i like the look and as long as i can make phonecalls...
