I've had this phone for a little bit more than a month and I think it's great. My reception is fine. I only lose reception when I'm below ground level, like in parking structures. I do get a txt message everytime I receive a voice mail but I've checked my bill and I don't get charged for these. I still haven't figured out how to use WAP. I can't even get onto t-zones. I would appreciate any help with WAP/WAP push messages. I would love to be able to read my e-mail or go online. I have configured my n908 to notify me when I get e-mail but I can't read the content of the message. I just see the sender's name and the subject. In other words, it's not a WAP push message just plain SMS. I also like the handwriting recognition (yes, it understands English) but I prefer the E/N keyboard. I've had no trouble with bluetooth and the PC software is really easy to use. Love the USB mode. Will try to find out if it accepts a 2GB card. I highly recommend this phone. If anyone can help with WAP/WAP push messages I would highly appreciate it.

I just came back from a trip to Vietnam and would've loved to have this phone for use there as well as here in the US. This is the best N9xx series NEC has made yet and it's surprisingly affordable too at around $260 at some vendors! Love the brushed metal alloy body and clean lines. Nice job NEC! Time to replace my old quadband N525 which still works very well.

yeah, i also get a text message when i get a voicemail...actually two texts that just say "50" and no voicemail icon. also when i hold down the number "1" to check my voicemail i get two options: "listen" or "edit". why can't i just get to my voicemail inbox? other than that, it's a good little phone.

Not a bad phone, although for 300$ cdn, there are much better choices. Its got all the basic phone functions. The camera has no flash so that kinda makes it useless in the dark and the music player is quite primitive... the battery life is not so great but just good enough for me, o well, the size and the metallic design keeps me happy:)

the six digit number is the network code. i'm still trying to figure out how to change it so it says "cingular." The schedular is decent. battery life - 3 days with minimal use (6-7 5min phone calls, 10 txt msgs, playing with camera,mp3 player, picture viewer) sound quality is great, but i have echo problems when i switch to handsfree

what kind of battery life are we talking about? I use my phone maybe 5 mins in a day... you think it would last 2 days?

handwriting recognition does recognize alpha characters, but slow to do so. best thing to do is to tap the correspondin letter in E/N keyboard mode

phone doesnt have a stereo, but its pretty loud for its size. as far as mp3's i have put 5MB+ mp3 songs on there and it worked fine, but i dont recommend using it as a mp3 player because of the battery life

Hi, does this phone support full size mp3's (like 3mb-5mb) as a mp3 player??? I have a 1 gig microSD card full of mp3's and I want to listen to them as well.
