after being connected to a call, how do you go about typing additional numbers for ext and such.

To disable bar call go to settings and it's under security.

Does this phone have a calendar and organizer that can be synced to the PC?

The phone's screen displays buttons on the lower part, and you touch it with your finger or the stylus. I don't remember what it says, but it is like Answer and the other one is something like Busy. To hang up you can press the power button on the side of the phone or touch the screen produced button.

You can plug in headphones to listen to mp3s. I am doing it through the supplyed mic/headset connector (the one to connect the charger and usb cable). The mic/headset is two pieces, the mic which connects to the phone, and it has a regular headphone jack so you can use headphones other than the supplied earbuds.
