anyone email me if they know where to get this! I live in Canada, and cannot obtain quality like NEC. Ebay has proven unsuccessful! thsi phone is Hot~ any of that samsung, lg, audiovox stuff is all crappo!

just an update to the previous post, I have had the phone running for 83 hours with 37 miniutes of calls on one full charge so the fears over the battery are nothing to worry about. It still has one bar left but i am going to give it another full charge tonight. As far as i can tell, for a light user who is not concerned about all the rubbish packed into todays phones, then this is ideal.

Just got one of these and it is a cracking little phone. Good sound both hearing and speaking, battery is good for a long long day on standby and a normal days talking. Dont care about the camera but as a simple and easy to use phone this has to be the best of the bunch for performance, build qualtity and size.

to henry if you want free nec phones try ebay your scam might work there and get you off a great web site like this instead of wasting decent peoples time.

This phone looks like a mini TV.Hehe, if it had bluetooth it would have been a nack but seems it doesn't just another worse one.

Has anybody got any idea where I can download or purchase the English manual for this phone as mine is in Chinese. What keys are used to lock the phones keypad buttons as sometimes when it is in my pocket it activates the camera etc... Also does anybody know where I can buy an in car charger for it.

I forgot one question.
How du i reduce / increase speaker volume while talking to somebody.
I can't find it in the english manual i have.
I can (later when i get home) put the english version of the manual on my homepage.

Got my N923 in Hong kong also.
I'am quite exitet about it.
Though battery runs out quick if there is no signal.
To set english menu.
Press Menu (left softkey) - 5 - 3 -2
Then you get the option for english.
I don't know where to get the english manula, but the shop i bought my phone from downloaded it for me.

beautiful looking phone i bought it in hong kong nearly 500usd but i need the manual in english and i would lke to know whether it supports 3 volts or 6 volts sim card.
is this phone handsfree also

I get two hours talk and 24 hours standby with heavy usage.
Make sure you set the balckight to turn off ASAP
IF you are getting two hours standby your battery is possibly in need of a few charge cycles it is not user replacable.
It is much better than the n900 and has built in speaker and microphone
all the N900 acessories (data suite etc ) work perfectly with the N923 and the N930
