Yea, I love the look of it and everything but no bluetooth kills it. I was told their making a new one. Any truth to this rumor? And if so, please tell me its going to have bluetooth.

Well Ive had my N1m for some time now, overall Im very impressed with it.

Depending on what Im using it for (mp3/calls/web browsing) will determine when I need to charge it, typically Im looking at every other day, which is reasonable.

Quality, well it oozes quality, in the UK I know Im set out from the rest, I have not come accross another person with an N1, so it certainly has an exclusivity about it, well put together, great functionality, if not a little time consuming to get familiar with the operating of menu functions.

Fair play, the picture browser is slow and prone to hanging, but you have to remember that you have the quality set to max, reduce it and you will have no problems viewing your pics.

Bluetooth, well It would have been nice, but the stereo PHF is more than adequate for mps'3 and calls.

The display, too prone to damage, a scratch resistant screen would not go a miss, after 6 months use I need a new screen, if you get too many scratches over that baby then you end off sending yourself off into parts of the menu you never imagined (I am a very heavy user, I can wear a phone out in 6 months).

Kudos to Neonode overall, Id say go get youself one of these, but you already knew you wanted to.

I bought this phone and I can't say I'm satisfyed.
Ok, it's a cool phone. But it hangs almost every time i watch pictures. And the battery time is awful. Maybe there is just something wrong with my N1m.
I'm returning mine tomorrow.

Hi.
I use N1m,it is not bad like Luke's one.The signal is very good and stable(compare to O2 mini,SE p910.Quality of talking is clearly. For battery,I can use 2 day with 30 minute of talking (notice:even battery indicator is empty, you can use the phone for one day).SMS:when you create SMS,the keyboard(like normal phone)will be appear, you edit SMS as normal phone. The way of using Neonode is good experience, like no other.N1m is very good for daily use.The most disappointed is the lack of bluetooth.hear music by loud speaker is not good (very low).I agree with Luke the sound of game is unusual.with new update, the call list have date/time even the contact do not in phonebook.

Hey Luke !
I am looking forward to buyin this phone, and i am a bit dissapointed by your last comment, i would expected more from the phone :). Everything would seem ok, except that problem with the sound quality during a call. Is it that bad ?? I want this phone to show off more than to be so practical, and from what i understood from your review, it's a pretty cool gadget, people notice you & the phone :).How is the signal quality ? And, please tell me, how's sending a SMS, with that touch screen ? Thank you

Neonode products are only available through their online shop and currently aren't available to the US...which is probably for the better! Do not buy this phone. When it come to cell phones, I am really quite a geek, as I will spend hours sifting through the specs, review, manufactures details etc. just to find my 'perfect' phone (which I usually feel the need to replace at less than six month intervals!?!) Although lacking in Bluetooth and in fact infrared, I thought the open-platform software, megapixel camera, upto 1Gb storage and innovative touch-screen technology seemed amazing.
After much anticipation, my N1m finally arrived albeit several days late, but I couldn't wait to turn it on. I must say that I am very impressed by the zForce optical touch-screen, which is incredibly responsive, accurate and easy to use; however, although replacable, scratches very easily. Sound quality on a call is extremely poor -there is far too much bass and the clarity is somewhat muffled, added to which I am constantly told that I sound too quiet. It is almost certainly impossible to use this phone in a noisy environment, least of all because of the inbalance of treble-bass. The 1 megapixel camera is also tuly terrible and features no flash/light source. The supplied USB cable is only approx. 10" long and as a result the handset has to be placed an the floor when connected. Whilst scrolling through the menus and features for the firt time, I noticed an alarm clock option that was not highlighted and for whatever reason is not currently availble on this particular model (this has now been activated in the latest software update -but why was this not already done before being rolled off the production line?!). There is also just the one ring and SMS tone, although adding your own via the USB cable proved very easy. I then started to note that the clock on the main screen display would skip a few hours when closing applications(??) and that sound for the installed game would only play if the media player was opened first. If a contact isn't in your phonebook and you view the call register, it will not always give you the date/time of the call. Then there's the battery life, which is again awful and requires a charge everyday for medium to heavy users, not to mention the screen becoming very hot after just a fifteen minute conversation.
All in all this is not a very practical phone, but I have had many positive commects from people who see the touch-screen abilities of the unit but I have to say I am now selling it on eBay and have bought a Samsung E730 that much better suits my needs and is a highly recommecded phone (unless you want to wait a few more weeks for the LG M4410 -much the same as the afore mentioned Samsung, but with expandable memory). This is all I can think of at 04.00 in the morning and if you have any further questions, please contact me although I think by now you'll have reconsidered the Neonode N1m. Let's wait and see what the proposed N2 model will bring...
