i tihnk its a good phone and easy enough to use i dont have one tough but ive used them a few times and they are fine alcatel are a good mobile phone maker !

This is holding the off button (red) and the hash. It warns you it is going to delete all records and reset to factory settings. Take out your 8gb card and sim first! That sorted out my problem. I think that the software locked up somehow. I am glad I discovered this because Virgin has yet to phone me about this. No wonder I think their helpline rings out to India!

This phone is useless slow and pathetic, i dont know why alcatel continue to make phones, its just an extremely cheap affordable version of a decent smartphone.

I bought one on the 31st August. I was initially making calls and people could not hear me on the other end of the mobile! Found out that call forwarding was activated, not by me! Worked ok until 21st of September when, in spite of being fully charged it will only operate as a phone, then when I click to view the menu it turns off! The camera on the phone produces pathetic pictures if you take them off the card. It's radio is superb, as is the MP3 player facility. I put an 8gb card in and had 148 songs on it and space for many more. I also loaded on some java games and they worked fine. The keyboard is great for typing texts and notes. The recording facilty for notes and the radio is very low level, and also low quality if taken off the machine. A good try but I think they have put too much on to a cheap telephone, and it shows by software glitches ruining the operation in such a short time. I await Virgin's call to collect this telephonic disaster!
