Hi,
I am a great fan of HTC products and i buy a new one every two to three months. I have been following you since you were manufacturing for I mate. I read about your company a lot and enjoy your products to the max. I even log on gsmarena.com every day to check out when the HTC shift will be out and all the new products that you come up with. I actually own the HTC 3600 with the built in GPS TomTom navigator. It worked perfect with me. I only had two concerns of which i thought you would target on your next generation. First of all the quality of the earpiece was very bad. it works perfect if things are quite around, however if it becomes noisy like in the street or outdoor you can totally loose the voice of the person talking to you. I hope you tackled this concern in your HTC touch cruiser. Another important point I always wished that you would do was the standard 3.55mm jack. This is such a relief when you have it in your device. Also, why don't you plug in a Carl Zeiss lense? I shifted to the Nokia N95 8G because of those things. another thing is the resolution in the screen. Nokia now uses the 16M color, and the HTC touch cruiser still uses the 65K resolution. Not even the 256K. I own now the HTC 3600 and the Nokia 95 8G. I am a Microsoft fan. Also i loved the GPS TomTom. But the video quality in the Nokia and the built in 8G are outstanding. It is like i have a video camera with me. But the GPS is very lousy. I did not send this email to Nokia to improve thier GPS for example, i sent it to you. Cuz i love HTC products and i tried it. I love the fact that i can Skype, listen to radio and navigate. Fantastic product. Unbelievable. But you have to work on the following things

3.55 mm Jack
16 M color or 256K
Good quality of the earpiece
Carl Zeiss lense
I know that there are a lot of things that you have to take into account if you will add these things. and i know that you probably have thought about them earlier and there are limitations to them. Like for example the 16M screen will drain the battery fast. But check out the technology behind Nokia? If they did it, you can do it.

I hope that my email will reach the person in charge of taking those decisions, and trust me if you take those things into account, your phone will fly off shelves and will be the best phone out there.

Thank you

Seif Hafez

The GPS is Sirf not 'crappy Nokia' GPS. I have the P3300 which is the predecessor of this, the GPS is fantastic with tomtom software.

Rafsan,

I don't blive there is any authorised HTC dealer in the U.S.A. The only way to have a HTC device is through one of the wireless carriers. Even then the carriers do not usually have the exact phone models that HTC directly sells. Alternately, some vendors in U.S.A who sell imported phones carry HTC devices.

@ Rafsan

I've know idea what made you think that, but HTC has, in fact, sold 1 million original HTC Touch phones in 5 months.

Hey Rafsan,

HTC sells a bunch of their products in the U.S.A through carriers such as Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. Nonetheless, there is no comparison with the Nokia's and SE's.

In our opinion the HTC Touch Cruise is undoubtly the best communication & Multimedia equipment actually on the market. The advantages are :
3G - HSDPA 3.6 Mbps ( Asus P535:3G- No 3G)
EDGE- Yes (Asus P535: EDGE- No)
BROWSER-(WAP 2.0/xHTML-HTML) (Asus P535:BROWSER-WAP 1.2.1/2.0)
CAMERA-3.15 MP (Asus P535: 2.0 MP)
STAND-BY- up to 450 hr (Asus P535: up to 200 hr)
TALK TIME- up to 7 hr (Asus P535: up to 5 hr)

GO FOR THE 'HTC TOUCH CRUISE' IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE THE SMARTEST !!!!

Is its screen from glass? Just then it might get some points over those with keypads.

Please help me, I want this PDA, it's amazing. But why I have to choose it for ASUS P535. TouchFlo menu can be installed to any WM6. and P535 is more cheaper..
